To be honest, we're not sure how stoked we are about the return of Tails.

The sequel to the two-dimensional noscon will arrive on PlayStation 3 in 2012. SEGA promised that the title would boast improved physics and visuals in an interview with GameSpot last week. The game's also set to host the return of Metal Sonic and Tails.

There's a teaser trailer embedded after the jump. It doesn't really reveal much, but we're sure we'll be learning lots about the game in the coming months. Patience, eager readers.
