Resident Evil 6 is probably our most anticipated PS3 title at the moment.

Chatting in a new video, as spotted on the Capcom Unity blog, Hiroyuki Kobayashi revealed that more than 600 people are currently involved with the game's development — including 150 at Capcom's head office in Japan.

Yoshiaki Hirabayashi explained that the upcoming sequel "not only has a larger world and deeper experience than you have played before but we are excited to say it is a blend of action and survival horror - something we like to call 'dramatic horror'."

Director Eiichiro Sasaki added that the game's story is "intricately designed" with "intense drama, realism and surprising plot twists".

From what we've glimpsed of the upcoming title, we can certainly believe Capcom's lofty claims. The game's first trailer boasted some stunning gameplay scenes that have us practically itching to get our hands on the upcoming release.

We'll have to wait until November, though, when the title drops onto PS3.
