As is so common in the video game industry, most gamers let unrealistic expectations get the better of them. But the editors of Game Informer weren't exaggerating about the unexpected nature of their next issue. After all, we don't think anybody anticipated Obsidian Entertainment — of Fallout fame — to be working on a South Park flavoured RPG.

But they are. Written, performed and overlooked by series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, South Park: The Game is pitched as "a full-scale RPG for the PlayStation 3". It will be published by THQ.
