Day One.

The pop-music inspired slasher will feature Suda 51's outrageous design and Akira Yamaoka's audio skills. There's now an official website for the game through here.

“Our exciting partnership with Kadokawa Games allows us to try something new by bringing a very unique game like Lollipop Chainsaw to Western markets,” said Warner Bros' Martin Tremblay.

“We are looking forward to partnering with Warner Bros on our first entry into the HD console market,” added Kadokawa Games president, Yoshimi Yasuda. Kadokawa's publishing the game in Japan.

The game itself looks absolutely brilliant. You play as high-school-honey-turned-zombie-hunter Juliet Starling, who must vanquish her school from a lethal zombie outbreak. Lollipop Chainsaw's aiming for a pop music-inspired aesthetic, with zombies bleeding pink and glitter as opposed to blood.

We literally cannot wait to hear the soundtrack Akira Yamaoka cooks up for this game.
