Hydrophobia Prophecy Will Launch On The PSN Next Month.

Hydrophobia Prophecy is pitched by the publication as an update on last year's XBOX 360 exclusive. The PSN title will include new levels, and reworked existing stages. Apparently around 70 percent of Prophecy is new.

The game suffered some harsh reviews when it launched on the XBOX 360, but Dark Energy Digital has taken the feedback on board. Prophecy boasts an improved cover system, expanded storyline, and new voice actors. So basically Dark Energy's rebuilt the game for PS3.

"It's Hydrophobia 1.5, really," managing director Deborah Jones revealed to Eurogamer. "It's also not the original and it's also not Pure [an updated version of the original game]."

"The game is now hugely longer," Dark Energy gaffer Pete Jones added. "We've honed, refined and developed the stuff people liked, and we've added a bunch of new stuff that's gone down really well in usability tests."

The PlayStation 3 version will also boast PlayStation Move support. The Move controller will be used for camera and aiming properties in conjunction with the Navigation controller for movement.

The game's due out sometime in May.
