Any Time We Pull Out This Logo Is Cause For Celebration.

Not only did they release the completely bonkers Bayonetta, they also delivered the equally zany Vanquish in the same year. The studio's announced that it will return in 2011 with another brand new IP, Max Anarchy.

According to Andriasang the game will be the studio's first attempt at online multiplayer, and apparently it will support a "large number of players". We wonder if they're gunning for MAG here?

There's a few leaked Famitsu scans floating about that reveal chainsaws (amongst other things). The game's said to feature the protagonist of Wii title Madworld, though it's not clear in what capacity. (While we're on the subject: a PlayStation Move port of Madworld would be a nice PSN treat, right?)

Atsushi Inaba claims the game has been in development for over two years. In addition, Inaba notes that the game's genre doesn't exist yet. He deems it "Massively Multiplayer Melee Fighting Action". Awesome.

SEGA's on publishing duties so we're sure we'll get more information soon. We'll just have to sit tight until then. Trailer please.
