The game has sold a whopping 140,000+ in its first 24 hours on sales — numbers which eclipse the first month of sales on XBOX 360 and come close to the game's lifetime sales on Microsoft's system. The lure of new content and, you know, being on Playstation 3, can be attributed to the high sales figures.

Despite the high sales figures in Japan, Namco Bandai have yet to announce a US version of Vesperia on the PS3. We assume it'll happen, mind.
