The new Mortal Kombat wants to appease everyone, hence a job listing for Warner Bros Games Chicago (that's formerly Midway Chicago by the way; i.e. the MK team) that seeks a programmer capable of "revolutionizing online play".

The team want someone to push the boundaries of what is possible with online interaction," including "brand-new features that will revolutionize online play". Lofty stuff indeed, and surely something to get excited about, especially since Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe was such a solid entry.
