Saros: How to Break Yellow Barriers

In Saros, you might sometimes find yellow or gold barriers that are seemingly impossible to pass. How can you break these yellow barriers? As part of our Saros guide, we're going to explain how to break yellow barriers.

How to Break Yellow Barriers in Saros

Throughout Saros, you'll come across red barriers or red shields on enemies. These can be broken using your melee strike (tap R1).

Yellow barriers, meanwhile, are impenetrable — at least, they are at first.

For most of the game, you won't be able to break yellow barriers. However, upon reaching an area called the Yellow Shore, your melee strike will be powered up. Afterwards, you will be able to break yellow barriers (and shields) in the same way as with red ones.

Simply approach and tap R1 to destroy yellow barriers.

Doing so will lead to yet more rewards and Side Paths that have previously been blocked off.

Additionally, with this souped-up melee strike, you can also smash open golden Containers, meaning Carcosan Keys need only be used for opening certain locked Side Paths.
