Resident Evil 3 PS1: All Choices Explained and Rewards

There are 10 choices you have to make throughout the game, every one of which provides you with 2 options.
When the monster appears, the game temporarily freezes and you have to make a choice between the options. If you take too long, there's a hidden third option that generally results in a negative outcome. If you choose to fight Nemesis when possible on the Hard difficulty, you can earn rewards for beating him. Those, along with each Nemesis choice, are all detailed below.
Fight with the Monster or Enter the Police Station?
If you Fight with the Monster...
- You will enter a battle with Nemesis
- You can take the S.T.A.R.S. Card from Brad Vickers' body
- Defeating Nemesis on Hard gives you the Eagle Parts A the first time you beat him
If you Enter the Police Station...
- You go inside and avoid battling Nemesis
- You have to find another way to access the Main Hall's computer
Run into the Basement or Hide Inside the Kitchen?
If you Run into the Basement...
- Jill and Carlos get away from Nemesis by jumping down into the basement
- You must then escape by either climbing back up the ladder or using the ventilation hole
If you Hide Inside the Kitchen...
- Jill and Carlos hide from Nemesis behind the kitchen counter
- Nemesis is knocked out by an explosion
Jump Out of the Window or Hide in the Back?
If you Jump Out of the Window...
- Jill and Carlos safely escape Nemesis by climbing out the window and landing in the alleyway
If you Hide in the Back...
- Nemesis gets close to Jill and Carlos' hiding point, but an explosion knocks him down
Head to the Emergency Exit or Increase Electricity Output?
If you Head to the Emergency Exit...
- You break down the emergency exit door and go back to the substation entrance area
- You'll either encounter Nemesis or more zombies here
If you Increase Electricity Output...
- The electricity current increases, and all the zombies at the gate are killed
- You must solve a puzzle to open the shutters
Climb Up or Jump Off?
If you Climb Up...
- You'll climb out of the hole and continue on to the cable car
If you Jump Off...
- You'll fall down the hole and have to find your way back to ground level
Jump out of the Window or Use the Emergency Brake?
If you Jump Out of the Window...
- Jill jumps out the window and leaves Carlos behind
- When you wake up, you'll be inside the Clock Tower
If you Use the Emergency Brake...
- Jill tries to stop the train with the emergency brake, and Carlos jumps out the window
- When you wake up, you'll be in the courtyard outside the Clock Tower
Use the Light or Use the Cord?
If you Use the Light...
- The spotlight will be positioned to blind Nemesis, which allows Jill to push the monster off the balcony
If you Use the Cord...
- Nemesis will be electrocuted as Jill throws the cable at his feet as he walks in a puddle of water
Push Him Off or Jump Off?
If you Push Him Off...
- Nemesis is pushed off the bridge into the water below, and Jill goes into the Dead Factory
- You enter the Dead Factory on floor 2F
If you Jump Off...
- Jill jumps off the bridge into the water below and enters the Dead Factory via a passage
- You enter the Dead Factory on floor 1F
Negotiate with Nicholai or Return Fire to the Chopper?
If you Negotiate with Nicholai...
- Talking to Nicholai keeps him distracted long enough for the missile to appear on the radar
If you Return Fire to the Chopper...
- You fight the helicopter with whatever weapons you have access to
Exterminate the Monster or Ignore It and Evacuate?
If you Exterminate the Monster...
- Jill will find a magnum and kill Nemesis
If you Ignore it and Evacuate...
- You'll leave the room and let Nemesis be destroyed along with Raccoon City
