How Do You Beat The Fury in Metal Gear Solid Delta?

The Fury seems to think he's still in space, equipped with a flamethrower and a jet pack that let's him fly around six dark corridors in an underground tunnel. The quick bit of housekeeping here is that if you defeat him non-lethally, you'll get a new Uniform called Fire. It's a very apt name.

As for the encounter itself, you naturally don't want to get too close to The Fury. He covers the area near him in fire constantly and launches himself down specific corridors at speed. If you're caught in his flames, you'll receive significant damage.

Because of this, we recommend tackling the fight at long range. Equip a sniper rifle and shoot him at a distance, when he's slowly walking down any one of the six hallways. You can get a few shots off before he reacts and charges towards you. At this point, run down a different corridor to the other end. You can now repeat that strategy.

If you're going for the non-lethal approach, you'll need to shoot him in his arms and legs. Aiming for the orange helmet does nothing; he's protected by it. However, even if you're using normal weapons for the fight, you can adopt the same approach of using the many hallways to hide and reach the opposite end of him.

You can shoot him three times in a row before he falls to the ground and his health meter goes dull. This means he is temporarily invulnerable, and you should retreat. As being hit by his flames is so punishing, we recommend having Life Medicine to hand. The natural health regeneration you receive won't be enough in this fight.
