The Valley of the Fallen is a Side Quest in Horizon Forbidden West issued by Nakko in the Fall's Edge during Blood for Blood. You'll likely discover it towards the very end of The Kulrut. The Valley of the Fallen: Walkthrough

Head south of Fall's Edge, and speak with Ivvira. After a brief discussion, cross the bridge behind you and use your Focus with R3 to find a climbing route. Follow the trail through the jungle, examining the machine corpses along the way.

You'll eventually end up at a waterfall guarded by Scorchers, which you can kill using Frost damage. Override the Lure at the back of the waterfall and replenish your supplies before heading deeper into the jungle and dealing with a Thunderjaw and a Tremortusk. Your best method of attack is to dislodge their weapons, and use them against them. Override the Lure at the base of the mountain, then use your Focus to find a climbing path.

Face off against the Spikesnouts and override the final Lure. Speak with the surviving Tenakth and then prepare to deal with some Specters, which are best killed using Acid damage.
