The Arena is an activity in Horizon Forbidden West overseen by Kalla at the Maw of the Arena near to the Memorial Grove. You'll need to complete Opening the Arena before you can participate. Horizon Forbidden West: The Arena Guide 2

The Arena is divided into five tiers of increasingly difficult gauntlets. They are: Amateur, Intermediate, Skilled, Expert, Legendary. Each tier has four challenges, some of which will allow you to select your loadout, while others will require you to use an assigned one. You'll need to pay a Challenge Fee of Metal Shards in order to participate, but will be rewarded with Arena Medals when successful. These can then be traded for Legendary Weapons, Outfits, and more.

All challenges found in The Arena are included below. Please not that any challenges marked with an * asterisk have online leaderboards, which will rank your performance based on your selected difficulty setting. Arena Medals: What Do They Do?

Arena Medals can be collected by completing battles in The Arena. Speak to Dukkah at the Maw of the Arena and choose Trade Medals to purchase Legendary Weapons and Outfits with the Arena Medals you've earned.
