Horizon Forbidden West: What to Do with Signal Lenses

You can gather most of the Signal Lenses in Horizon Forbidden West whenever you like, but their purpose isn't immediately clear. It's only after beginning the Errand, Signals of the Sun, that you will meet Raynah. This character wants you to gather all the Signal Lenses for her, in exchange for some rewards of course.

After first meeting Raynah near the location for Lens of Evening, she will relocate to Barren Light, where you can talk to her about any more Signal Lenses you find.

Horizon Forbidden West: All Signal Lenses Locations

Below, we're going to point out where to find all the Signal Lenses and complete Raynah's Errand, Signals of the Sun. There are 6 Signal Lenses to find in total.

All six Signal Lenses can be retrieved from six Signal Towers, positioned throughout The Daunt on high cliffs. To reach them, you will need to use Aloy's climbing abilities to scale the cliffs and towers.

Lens of Dawn (Signal Lens #1)

Lens of Dawn is found atop the northernmost Signal Tower, in the northeast corner of the map. It overlooks the Crimson Narrows mine. Here's where it appears on the game's map:

Lens of Morning (Signal Lens #2)

Lens of Morning is found at the top of a Signal Tower to the northeast of Chainscrape. It's the one closest to where you are first dropped off in The Daunt. Here's where it appears on the game's map:

Lens of Midday (Signal Lens #3)

Lens of Midday is at the top of a Signal Tower due east of Chainscrape. This one is pretty high up and you begin the climb from the path at ground level. Here's where it appears on the game's map:

Lens of Afternoon (Signal Lens #4)

Lens of Afternoon is found atop the Signal Tower located just southwest of Chainscrape. This one can only be obtained during or after the Side Quest, The Twilight Path. Here's where it appears on the game's map:

Lens of Twilight (Signal Lens #5)

Lens of Twilight is located atop the Signal Tower to the east of Barren Light. It's probably the easiest one to obtain, as there's not as much climbing involved; just follow the path up to the tower. Here's where it appears on the game's map:

Lens of Evening (Signal Lens #6)

Lens of Evening is found at the top of the Signal Tower north of Barren Light. You will be able to obtain this Signal Lens during the Errand Quest, Signals of the Sun. Here's where it appears on the game's map:
