Hogwarts Legacy: Professor Hecat's Assignment 1 Walkthrough
After completing the Main Quest called The Locket's Secret, you'll be immediately handed this Assignment. Follow the objective marker to find Professor Hecat in her classroom. She'll set you two tasks: win two rounds of Crossed Wands and complete a round of spell combination with Lucan Brattleby. Again, follow the objective marker to your first objective, which is the duelling club. Win two duels, and if you haven't already done them, you can combine this task with the Side Quest called Crossed Wands.
After that, speak to Lucan Brattleby again to do a round of Spell Combination Practice. Again, this is a Side Quest if you haven't already completed it. Once the two tasks are complete, return to Professor Hecat to complete the Assignment and unlock Incendio.
