Hogwarts Legacy: Jackdaw's Rest Walkthrough
Richard Jackdaw has agreed to help you locate his corpse and take the missing pages from his cold, dead hands. Head on over to the Forbidden Forest to begin, following the objective marker all the way. You're likely to encounter some enemies and beasts along the way, so tread carefully. Follow him once you've met up with him, but he'll eventually get too scared, leaving you to venture forth on your own. Tick off the landmarks Richard Jackdaw mentioned, continuing to follow the objective marker.
Eventually, you'll find the correct cave and be told to whisper the password into the basin in the centre. You'll be attacked straight afterwards, so once the enemies have been dealt with, enter Jackdaw's Tomb. You'll soon be blocked by a door with two symbols to its left and another on the right. You need to quickly use Basic Cast on all three to unlock it. Follow the path down, killing the spiders as you go.
After a bit more running and door opening, you'll find a platform you need to move with Accio. There are rewards on either side, but the main path is straight ahead. An arena of spiders awaits you, so deal with them before confronting the locked door. You're looking for another three symbols. One is on the path below, another is up on a rock to your left as you go up the steps, and the last one is just to the right of the door.
On the other side of the bridge, you'll find the corpse of Richard Jackdaw, so loot it to find the missing pages. Picking them up will immediately trigger an encounter, so deal with all the enemies. Once they're all destroyed, approach the ancient magic and go through the newly formed doorway.
The room up ahead will flood, but a magical bubble protects you from any drowning. Continue along the path forward and enter the new room and talk to the portrait. He'll tell you to go and get the book, so leave the Map Chamber and you'll exit via a new path underneath Hogwarts. This will finish the Main Quest.
