Hell Is Us: How to Open the Door in Vitalis' House

In Hell Is Us, as you explore the village of Jova in Acasa Marshes and try to track down the blacksmith, you'll reach a point where you gain access to his home. Named Vitalis, the blacksmith's house hides a locked door in the basement — but how do you open it? In this Hell Is Us guide, we're going to tell you.

How to Open the Door in Vitalis' House in Hell Is Us

• Once you enter Vitalis' house, you can go right down through the basement to find a locked door — but all the clues you need are found along the way.

• As you enter the house, open the first door on the left to get your first clue — a picture of a young boy riding a toy car.

• Next, continue through the house and the through the next door on the left. To the right is another clue — a picture of Vitalis and his partner stood in front of a car.

• Now head down to the basement. Take note of the toy car ahead; it seems like it's the same one from the first picture.

• Just ahead is a large locked chest. To open it, interact with it and use the Heirloom Necklace. This will reward you with more clues — most pertinently, a third picture, this time of a mother playing with her son.
• Continue down the ladder and follow the path to the locked door. To open it, you need a six-digit passcode.
• To the left of the door is space to hang three pictures. It just so happens that you've acquired three pictures! Use this to arrange them in the order that will reveal the code.

• The secret to this puzzle is to arrange them in chronological order.
• The first picture is the one in which the woman is pregnant.
• The second picture is the one with the mother and son.
• The third picture is the one of the boy riding in his toy car.
• This will tell you two thirds of the code; the number in the final picture is obscured.
• However, you may recall seeing the same toy car back the way you came, revealing the final number.

• Using all this, you'll learn that the code for the door is 321713. Input this number in the pad, and the door will open.
