Halo Campaign Evolved: The Maw Walkthrough 1

There are 3 Skulls and 1 Terminal to find in The Maw. Below we have documented where to find them all in the order you would naturally encounter them, as part of our Halo Campaign Evolved guide.

Skull #1: Stowed Reload

  • After the cutscene on the bridge, where 343 Guilty Spark reappears, you'll need to make it to the cryo storage facility
  • On your way there, you'll pass through a room where Sentinels are fighting with the Flood as you arrive — it's the big room with four cryo pods in the centre
  • In the back-left corner of the room from where you enter is the Skull

Skull #2: Boom

  • At the start of the "Light Fuse" checkpoint, you enter a large hangar area with the objective of destroying cores
  • From the entrance to the hangar, go up the ramp to your right, then go through the unlocked door in the opposite corner
  • You'll reach Floor 2, as per the sign on the walls
  • Go up to Floor 3, and two of the cores will be marked in front of you
  • Go to the end of this little platform, where a door in front is marked exit
  • Don't go through it, but instead, jump to the open door to the right
  • From its ledge, look straight down and to the right
  • The Skull is hidden at the end of a narrow path you can drop down to from here

Skull #3: Thunderstorm

  • When you're in the Warthog trying to escape, the tunnel you drive through will have smaller side paths off to the side
  • When you find the second side path, which will be just before you encounter some Sentiels fighting the Flood, drive down it
  • In the middle of the path, on top of the remains of an explosion, is the Skull
