Exploding Nightmares are essentially just Nightmares that...explode. As such, these monsters should be even more of a priority, as once they reach Kratos, they'll blow up and deal big damage. They're basically just floating bombs ready to go off.

Make sure to kill them quick with an axe throw, or Atreus' arrows. One or two hits is usually enough.
