Main Quest

The Shields of Rosaria have marched to Phoenix Gate that the duchy's Dominant and heir to the throne, Joshua, might hear the Words of their Ancestors, as is custom before any great battle. However, the night before the ceremony, the young prince is stirred from his slumber by the sounds of battle. The fortress is under attack, and Joshua must fight his way to his father with the aid of but a single brave Shield.

Flight of the Fledgling: Walkthrough

Flight of the Fledgling sees you take control of Joshua, who's awoken in the middle of the night. A Shield comes to guide him to safety. Follow him through the fortress. You'll come to an enemy — defeat him. Continue through the castle, defeating more enemies as you find them. A cutscene will see everyone reunite, and your control is returned to Clive.

Head through the door and grab the Stoneskin Tonic. In the next room, defeat the enemies and continue through the castle. Pick up a Potion and High Potion, and continue on.

Defeat the enemies in the courtyard, then prepare for a boss fight against Knight of the Blinding Dawn.

Knight of the Blinding Dawn Spoils:

  • 63 EXP
  • 75 Ability Points

Once defeated, watch the cutscene.

When you next take control, you'll be playing as the Phoenix, battling Ifrit.

Eikon of Fire Spoils:

  • 50 EXP

Once this sequence is over, watch the cutscene and the quest is finished.

  • Slay the invaders
  • Defeat Knight of the Blinding Dawn
