Leonine Misbegotten: Boss Fight Strategy

Leonine Misbegotten is an incredibly aggressive foe, so first off our best advice is to stay on the move. He will slash you with devastating attacks that can be almost impossible to defend, even if you have a great shield. Your best approach is to dodge him, then, or better yet use Spirit Summons like the Lone Wolf Ashes to draw his attention. When he's distracted, sneak up behind him and hit him hard; surprisingly he's quite easy to stagger, which can open him up to a lot of damage. If you've got Fire Grease, try adding that to your blade for additional damage.

If you're a magic caster, then try to hit him with spells while he's leaping through the air. You're going to need to create separation, but the same principles as melee combat apply here; he's incredibly difficult to defend against, so time your rolls intelligently and hit him when you have a bit of space. This is more of a Bloodborne-style fight than you may have faced thus far, so stay nimble and look for opportunities to strike. As mentioned above, Spirit Summons can make this a doddle by diverting his attention and giving you the windows you need to strike.

Once you've downed Leonine Misbegotten, you'll be rewarded with the Grafted Blade Greatsword and will be able to return to Edgar to finish Irina's quest.
