Cyberpunk 2077: How to Save Takemura in Search and Destroy Guide 1

How do you save Takemura in Search and Destroy in Cyberpunk 2077? In order to unlock All Cyberpunk 2077 Endings, you'll need to save Takemura during the quest Search and Destroy. However, this option is kept secret, and so it's very easy to miss. If you fail to save Takemura, then you won't be able to unlock all of the Trophies. For more information on that, refer to the following: Cyberpunk 2077: All Endings and How to Unlock Them.

Cyberpunk 2077: How to Save Takemura in Search and Destroy

In order to save Takemura in Search and Destroy, follow the quest as normal up to the point where Arasaka soldiers infiltrate the hotel and blow a hole in the ground. When you awaken, Johnny Silverhand will tell you that Takemura is toast, and the quest markers will encourage you to escape from the building.

However, once you take back control, look for a room with a neon cross symbol on the wall, as pictured below:

In this room, there's a hole in the wall to the left. Crawl through it to save Takemura.

Rather than go to your right, as the objective markers indicate, instead crouch through a red gap in the wall on your left. Follow the environment and you'll eventually reach a set of stairs, where Johnny will tell you that Takemura is beyond help. Ignore him and continue up the stairs. Then you'll see an optional objective appear: "Try to Save Takemura."

Follow these objectives and escape with Takemura. You'll be split up at the end of the quest, but you'll now be able to unlock The Devil Trophy.
