Just wondering, cuz I have about 16, and some are good and some are utter crap.
So I'd say these are my favorite:
1.) *Blast Off* ($2.99) - My favorite mini BY FAR. The music is just incredible for a download game, and the graphics and gameplay are also well-polished. It also happened to be my very first mini, so go figure.
2.) *A Space Shooter For Two Bucks* ($1.99) - Definitely a must-have for PSP owners who want a good shmup. I think I've spent well over ten hours in the game, and it's still fun to play to get all the shop upgrades. Plus, the dialogue is hilarious. XD
3.) *Age of Zombies* ($4.99) - Another Halfbrick game (like Blast Off), though their other two PSminis aren't so great. The campaign's extremely short, but the meat of the game is getting high scores in each individual level, and just for that it is well worth the 5 dollar price tag.
4.) *Young Thor* ($4.99) - This one's a side-scroller beat-em-up/adventure game, and though it can be a bit glitchy at times, it's still a blast of a game, especially if you try to get every equipment upgrade.
5.) *Coconut Dodge* ($0.99) - I've only played one round, but I know it's gonna become almost as addicting as Tetris for me. One dollar well spent.
Doodle Fit and Mecho Wars are also pretty good imo, but I'd advise to stay away from One Epic Game (Cheap AI), NOVA (glitchy as f***), and Ninjamurai (Bad controls, bad animation, all-around bad). Seriously. STAY AWAY from them (especially Ninjamurai).
Age of Zombies, A Spaceship Shooter for 2 Bucks, Mighty Flip Champs, Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess, Who's That Flying?!, and the recently-released Canabalt are all pretty fantastic.
Vita Compatibility: Age of Zombies is rumored to be compatible with the Vita.
Young Thor, Mighty Clip Champs, Monsters (probably) Stole my Princess, Who's that Flying?!, and Coconut Dodge are supposed to be able to be directly downloaded from the Vita.
Unfortunately, Blast Off and A Space Shooter for 2 Bucks are not playable on the Vita.
I think you've named most of the best ones. But I would also add Orbit, it's fun and addictive. Obviously Angry Bird, and Impossible Mission, even though it's incredibly difficult.
Flying Hamster - A sideways space shooter, it has great humor and the sound track has charm. Great for the PSP/Vita because it's a game you can pull out and play.
A Space Shooter for Two Bucks! - Another space shooter, has lot's of achievements and unlockables. Lots of humor in the writing and addicting gameplay.
Coconut Dodge - A simple iPhone like game where you just dodge coconuts and collect treasure. There are also unlockable mazes ( hordes of coconuts with different routes that lead to treasure) and extra modes.
Monsters Probably Stole My Princess - A platformer where you hop on platforms upwards while chasing an enemy and earning points. There is only a few levels but there are challenges ( 3 per level) to get a specific score and lots of achievements.
Angry Birds - Might be more expensive, but still has all the addicting gameplay, tons of levels and charm of the iPhone version.
