I just got an email stating that I am in the beta and I am downloading it now. I'll post first impressions soon. This was one of my main reasons for getting the Vita. Anyone else here get in yet?
No Im well p****d for my little bro he has got all LBP game 80% of the DLC and he gets nuthin where as Iv seen people on websites selling codes cus the enlisted for it even tho they have no Vita
I ended up getting a Beta code for it but my girlfriend did not. I'm not sure what qualifications they looked for, but I'm sure they didn't choose NOT to give him a code. It's likely just a random selection process. They might even give out more codes down the line (wouldn't be surprised).
They might be reaching out to a different demographic. According to what you've said, it's almost certain your little bro will purchase LBP Vita where as maybe some of these other guys wouldn't. They might be trying to reach out to a section of the market not yet familiar with the series.

I've been waiting for my beta, but sadly i still haven't gotten it yet. Luckily they're sending another batch of beta codes sometime on Tuesday, so if you haven't gotten your beta yet. You might be in luck! I really look forward to keep everybody up to date on all the new LittleBigPlanet Vita news.
Anyone know how big the file is? I could grab it over 3G while I'm out and about . . .
Around 500mb iirc. I thought they don't let you download files over a certain amount on 3g? (50mb I thought)

Being beta code I'm not going to note much on stability or connection issues in LBPV.
But anyone worried about how the new dev's have handled proceedings need not. This is LBP through & through, and there are some pretty impressive community levels on offer already. The developer provided level 'Tapling' could be a PSN downloadable on it's own too. Top stuff!
