I like many others got to try out the PS Vita and what a piece of kit . I don't do things by halves and have come up with a list of 13 games . Mine are :----
1) Uncharted : Golden Abyss 2) Virtua tennis 4 vita 3) Rayman origins 4) Mortal Kombat 5) Shinibodo 2 : Revenge of Zen 6) Everybody's golf 7) Hustle Kings 8) Escape plan 9) Little big planet 10) A WWE Game 11) Urban Trials 12) A Doctor Who game 13) Mod Nation racers : Road trip
I will be gaming for months on these tasty morsels . So what are yours . I would love to know post your lists would be good to compare
I'm getting Fifa Football at launch, also want Uncharted: Golden Abyss and am quite interested in Reality Fighters but not sure how good it will actually be as a game in its own right.
Would love to see a GTA game in the future, as well as a portable Skyrim...drool.
Asyou can see by my name I am old school ( EXTREMELY ) old school . I also want to get games like daxter and dragons lair in time . I hear they are bring out the jak and daxter trilogy on vita to NICE!!!! " There are One pound fishies and five pound fishies " LOL
on my gamefly list are lumines, touch my katamari, little deviants, hot shots golf, disgaea 3, and dragon's crown. the vita games I will for sure buy are littlebigplanet and whenever they come out with a ratchet & clank and final fantasy.
Uncharted Golden Abyss & Gravity Rush are my launch day buys. The only other launch game I'd like is Wipeout 2048, but I can't afford it at the moment. I'll likely pick it up later on though.
I got my little gamecard for WipEout today from Amazon and it's driving me crazy that I can't play it yet.
For now, I'm sticking with WipEout, Hustle Kings, F1 2011, and Hot Shots Golf. As much as I LOVE Lumines, $40 seems a bit steep to me. I'm hoping to pick that one up once the price drops to $30 or below.
To save our Mother Earth from any alien attack
From vicious giant insects who have once again come back
We'll unleash all our forces we won't cut them any slack
The EDF deploys!!
A game that I'v been waiting on and has no release date even though it's first appearance was back in 2006 is Final Fantasy Versus 13. When I seen the trailer for it I thought to myself" yes there going to do this one right". Very cool looking concept, Nice art direction and style. But since then I'v not been won over by what I'v seen. I still have hope for the game but I'm not going to be surprised if the game is in development hell right now. Still no confirmed date. Its a long development cycle for a game which in many peoples eyes means it wont be a good product when its released. But people said the very same on LA Noire and well it did suffer with some flaws but was still good enough to stand next to this generations top games.
I still very much want to play it but at this stage only cause I'm long time fan of that Franchise.
@Scissors Unfortunately you americans have yet to experience Xenoblade :3 You'll understand soon enough though!
Also, previously I said I was only picking up Uncharted & Wipeout, but that was before these download prices were released. Now I'll be getting Motorstorm RC, Super Stardust Delta, and Escape Plan along with Uncharted Golden Abyss & Gravity Rush
Yeah those prices were a shock . I am holding off on modnation racers : roadtrip and I am going to get top darts , hustle kings , escape plan and superstardust Delta as well as the list of games . Thank god I have no life so I can afford to do this lol
I bought Hot Shots today at GameStop, payed $30 instead of $40 because they had older display cases at the front for $30 and the $40 price was on another place, so in turn they honored the price!

Considering picking up Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend for the Vita, probably the limited edition version. Anyone have any thoughts? I've never played BlazBlue before but I liked the look of the gameplay and it seems to be receiving favourable reviews.

Blazblue from the start has been a poorman's Guilty Gear, but thankfully after all the updates, it's finally turning out to be a good game in its own right. The biggest draw is the story mode, which is really really good. It's kinda like playing a visual novel with fighting game sequences in between. The story is actually interesting, too, and for once you have some context to the fights. Extend includes story for all the DLC characters, so you'd be getting the most bang for your buck.
