@Bad-MuthaAdebisi: Agreed that it's trash! And bad trash! BAD! I don't like any of the DC shows, I think none of them are worth watching because they're complete and utter pieces of worthless claptrap.
On another note, I missed the last episode of Taskmaster! Disaster! BUT, I am thoroughly enjoying watching through Black Books for the first time.

Earlier today I finished up Mischevious Kiss: Love in Tokyo: Volume 2 on Netflix.
This one wasn't quite as good as the first, but if you liked it, you'll like this too. This one goes more into their early days in the workforce, and changes things up by shaking up the supporting cast, and doing more "special" episodes (a trip to Okinawa in one, and Kobe & the countryside in others).
Anyhow, next up for me is Roman Empire: Empire of Blood (Netflix Original).

The big Arrowverse crossover starts tonight with Supergirl!!! I can't wait for it. I will probably watch it all this weekend on Hulu so that way I can watch them one after another.

Gave up on Legends of Tomorrow its an ok show which had i watched it weekly on TV I would have enjoyed but got it on Bluray and watching just a few episodes in a row I find myself doing something else while it is on.
Modus is good being shown on BBC4 on satrday nights.
Supergirl is having a strong 2nd season and Flash is moving along nicely. I enjoyed the french drama the Returned but kind of wished they had ended it after one season rather than going into season 2. Did not end up watching the 2nd season.
@Tasuki: As a person who's getting caught up with all the DC shows, it's going to be really confusing for me later on to know which show to watch first because of that. I mean, isn't the crossover across Supergirl, Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow?
Yep and that's the order to to watch them in.

Finished up Roman Empire: Reign of Blood (Netflix Original).
Make no mistake, this isn't the next Spartacus, Game of Thrones, or Marco Polo, so if you're looking for a sword & sandal epic, look elsewhere.
Rather, it's a documentary about the rule of Roman emperor Commodus, and while it does devote a lot of screen time to dramatic reinactment which may resemble your standard sword & sandal show, there's a few times each episode where historians will chime in on why so & so did this or that.
The main reinactment bulk of the show won't win any awards, but it was produced well enough that it kept my interest & did it's job in framing the various figures' actions (these also included relatively common nude/sex scenes, which I assume were a misplaced attempt to draw in the Spartacus crowd, but in turn will probably keep it from being shown in most educational situations). The sections where the historians were talking were often recorded over random shots of Rome & it's people, some of which didn't even look HD (like they were lifted from a past program, though most were HD quality), expect to see the same shot of the Senate building 2-3 times per episode, lol.
It's not must watch, but if it all sounds interesting to you give it a try (it's only 6 episodes long).
Next up for me is Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories (Netflix Original), and while I'm only a few episodes in, it looks like it's going to be a real gem.
Finished up Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories (Netflix Original), which is a live action Japanese program, and it's quite the hidden gem, so go watch it.
It centers around a warm overnight diner tucked away in the crowded side streets of Akihabara, and while there are a few regulars (such as the eatery's patron, who's simply referred to as "Master"), each episode is actually it's own self contained story focusing on whatever customer(s) happen to wander in during that episode, and there's always some dish that resonates with them (across the various episodes there's an ageing comedian jealous of his student's success, a grocery shop owner facing a midlife crisis, a romance between a Japanese man & a Korean woman & the troubles they face, a gambler who has to raise his young son, and more). The show just has a really cool vibe, and made me feel a variety of emotions across it's various tales.
Oh, and there was even a Dreamcast sighting in episode 7, lol. Even though the character that had been playing it was depicted as a bum...
Next up for me is the Crown (Netflix Original), which is a biography of Queen Elizabeth II.

Finished up the Crown (Netflix Original) faster than anticipated.
As mentioned before, it's a biography of the early years of Queen Elizabeth II's rule, and ultimately the internal battle between oneself & the position they represent. It's not something I would have sought out on my own, but I saw my parents watching it, and enchanted at it's quality, I decided to check it out myself.
The filmmaking & acting of each episode is movie quality (seriously the best I've seen from a Netflix Original, on a technical level), and I never tired of the beautifil British countryside, the ornate pageantry of the royal ceremonies, and the period vehicles. Lithgow was so great as Churchill that I could watch a series just about him, lol. Seriously though, some high quality stuff.

Finished watching My Little Lover on Netflix the other day. It's another live action Japanese romantic dramedy that sees a high school girl magically shrinking down (in reference to a Japanese folktale) after running away from home, and she's taken in by her next door neighbor until she can find a way to reverse the situation (and of course, though the two were childhood friends, they've drifted apart, and the situation gives them the chance they need to become close again).
The general storyline isn't that far removed from the other shows of it's type I've watched, but I still find the formula charming, and it's unique hook helps it to stand out. Furthermore, it's shorter episode count keeps it from getting long in the tooth, the love interest has the best reason to remain aloof out of the shows I've watched, and it has by far the most satisfying ending of the bunch (Oh, and I also got a kick out of how it referenced Mischevious Kiss: Love in Tokyo, the last of these shows I watched, most heavily in episode 8).
Next up is the MythBusters spiritual successor, White Rabbit Project (Netflix Original). I've only seen the first two episodes so far, but it's been a delight so far. Oh, my bro & I are also going through season 2 of Fuller House (Netflix Original) together, and I think we're about halfway through.

Have started watching King of the Hill in the last few days. It has really solid characters, a quality setting and great comedy writing, being kinda surreal but at the same time very realistic.
Otherwise, still watching through Black Books, I have 3 episodes left of series 3, and Moo-Ma and Moo-Pa (the last one I watched) was one of the best episodes.
If anime counts, I've been watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood until episode 16 and still going. It's awesome.

White Rabbit Project (Netflix Original) - Fun science show starring Mythbuster's "B" team of Grant, Kari, & Tori. It has it's own identity, but the vibe is similar enough that if you liked Mythbusters, you'll probably like this too.
CNN's the Eighties (Netflix) - Decent 8 part documentary about the era. It's a pretty good watch if you find such things interesting (especially from an American perspective).
Fuller House (Netflix Original) season 2 - Just as much cheesy nostalgia as the first season, but that's the main reason for this show's existence, so that's okay.
Tokyo Trial (Netflix) - 4 part mini-series docu-drama about the tribunal in Tokyo after WWII to see if the military officials were guilty of war crimes. It's mostly from the perspective of the Norwegian justice, and I thought it was quite good.
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (Netflix Original) - Based on the book series of the same name. It's a bit more silly than I remember the books being (though I read them as a kid), but overall I thought they did a great job capturing the vibe of the series (especially in the costuming & set design). I'm sure there are things they had to cut as with any adaptation, but as each book is covered in 2 episodes (roughly 40-50 mins long each), I imagine it's better paced than the movie, which crammed the first 3 books into one movie. This season is 8 episodes long, covering the first 4 books.
This is what I've watched since my last post.

CrazyHead (Netflix Original) - British series about two women in their 20's who spend their nights hunting demons. It's a drama, but it also has a lot of dark/crass humor. I didn't much care for it, TBH. I guess it's okay for what it is maybe, but I'm not big on the theme, and the humor wasn't to my liking at all.
Call Me Francis (Netflix Original) - South American drama about the life of the current Pope, and the events that shaped his character. I'm not a Catholic (and had no knowledge of Argentine history going into it), so I probably didn't get everything, but overall I thought it was pretty interesting (it's only 4 episodes, so not a time demanding watch). I had no idea how terrifying a place Argentina was in the 70's. Some of the stuff their military did was abslutely shocking.

@kyleforrester87 I've got all the series on DVD/Blu ray upto the last Keifer Sutherland one but I've not seen the new one. Is it on Sky 1? I remember one of my mates lending me the first two series and my wife and I watched both series over the course of about 3 weekends (back when we didn't have kids), it has slipped a little on quality but it is still an entertaining watch.
@crippyd I've got all the original seasons on DVD, the last one with Keifer was Live another day but that wasn't very good. The new one is on Fox though, I'm watching it on Now TV, first episode premiered last night and it was suprisingly good! Would recommend watching it on Catchup if you have a Now TV sub.
@kyleforrester87 I've got Virgin so it'll most likely have Fox catch up on there somewhere or they'll repeat the episode, I'll get my wife to set a series link for it. The last Keifer one was the London 12 part wasn't it? I've even got the film, which was a bit rubbish, although it looks like, if the writers hadn't gone on strike, it would have been a good series.
