@nessisonett It's a signing I'd have been more than happy with at Coventry, especially as it would have added to out Japanese contingent with the fan favourite Sakamoto.

One hopefully decent signing so far for us in Aurele Amenda from Frankfurt, a young centre back who was in the US with the Swiss team. And then one slightly meh signing in Loum Tchaouna from Burnley (a forward/winger with one goal last season..)

The goalkeeper saga rumbles on with the club seemingly still keen on Carl Rushworth but the price heading towards £30m now which is insane for their backup keeper but I guess is the English premium in action..

@Thrillho £30 million for Rushworth is insane but that’s the current market, our board don’t seem to realise that. Looks like we’re breaking our transfer record for Kasper Hogh at £11 million plus add ons but it’s crazy that we’re still stuck on prices from Martin’s first spell in charge.

@nessisonett I guess with a keeper like that, a few great saves that save you some points are invaluable at the end of the season so perhaps a price worth paying (with a good relegation release clause in there anyway..)

That guy on here who was insisting that Infantino was far less corrupt than Blatter must look a right idiot now. Blatantly selling off ‘investment’ in the World Cup to the Kushners to enrich himself is genuinely beyond anything Blatter ever did.

@nessisonett Yeah mate as I said Infantino is a cancer on the sport & needs to go but I can't see it unfortunately

Eddie Howe has left Newcastle, he leaves with his head held high and I am sure the Toon army will love him forever, seems a decent guy and sets his teams up well (except Burnley). I rate him and can see him at Everton before the season is out!

First game of the season tonight! Hearts and Rangers have already dropped points so it’s important we get off to a decent start. I’ll be gutted if Everton poach Johnston, he’s worth a lot more than the £15 million being banded about, he was arguably the second best right back at the World Cup.

Coventry got Rushworth! Now just to strengthen everywhere else still
