@JohnnyShoulder It was terrible but easy for me to say as a Utd fan Good to see those other clubs win something hadn't realised the bird connection - interesting!
@Kairuuu you are probably still celebrating and rightly so, congrats buddy 👍
@JohnnyShoulder It wasn't a great match but I'd disagree about Spurs being terrible. They were OK in the first half, got the goal they needed and then produced a defensive masterclass to shut United out. The game is won at both ends and you won't see many better defensive performances than that. Game plan played to perfection by Ange, as it was in the QF and SF.
@Kairuuu Yeah it is really sad mate, had 3 little ones too, such a shame. I think his brother was in the car as well, not sure if he is married with kids or not but such a loss for the family
@JohnnyShoulder yeah, even as Liverpool fan I feel sorry for Newcastle fans after the effort they put into that game. Crazy, clumsy tackle from Gordon though, nowhere near the ball.
Let's hope that's the first of many for young Rio, it was confidently put away for such a young lad in a big moment.
@Kairuuu Club Brugge at least are a bloody good club, they were a tough, tough match last year. 0-0 across 210 minutes with Borat FC due to shoddy, boring tactics and zero urgency from the players. We’ve still not replaced key players we sold almost a year ago, we have RB and LW starters out until the New Year and there’s no chance we get decent replacements with the massive loss of Champers revenue. Rangers are an absolute disaster but they’re at least supposedly moving in a direction, we can only go backwards. The Old Firm at the weekend could be the worst quality derby of all time!
What a goal from Dom, who was most likely motm even without the goal.
I was sure that was going to end 0-0, so needed something special. Not the greatest of matches tbh, second half was better when Liverpool had a bit more zip in thier attack. Best defensive performance of the season so far, buy quite a long distance.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@Johnnyshoulder And Guehi as well now. A massive transfer window for Liverpool, I just hope Slot can integrate them all quickly and effectively. Although most who have played have done pretty well so far.
Curious who is going to play on the centre-right of defence because I'm pretty sure Guehi and Virgil both usually play centre-left. Who is going to lose a starting spot to Isak also. Drop Ekitike or switch him to the left and drop Gakpo. I imagine there will be a lot of switching regardless.
