@BlAcK_SwOrDsMaN Yeah, Eno’s a legend for a reason. I think I actually prefer his traditional music to his ambient stuff though, Roxy Music are great and his solo albums are just as good. Plus I do love the collab albums with John Cale and David Byrne.
@Yousef- I created this Playlist on Spotify, it's Nas' King's Disease/Magic Albums in chronological order, I believe, I believe these six albums represent the pinnacle of his career, thought you might be interested.
@Jimmer-jammer What music have you been listening to, recently, my friend? I have been listening to a lot of the jazz guitarist, Julian Lage, the world's leading jazz guitarist right now. This album with him, another guitarist (from an avant-garde metal band) and the bassist from Faith No More and a drummer, written by a free jazz composer is about as close to metal as you're gonna get from jazz, really intense, hope you can find a couple of spare moments to listen and let me know your thoughts!

Lacuna Coil - Swamped
Amazing rock track from the Italian heavy metal band. The lead singer has one of the most amazing singing voices ever. https://youtu.be/nOuxOUYycoU
Magic Dirt - Plastic Loveless Letter
Great 90s Aussie rock band with one of their most iconic tracks. https://youtu.be/KQMK5izEtHI
Fabulous free jazz/avant rock music with some incredible guitar playing. Guitarist's work in this band seems to be a spiritual successor to Mingus' legacy.
@BlAcK_Sw0rDsMaN I’ve had issues renewing my Spotify subscriptions but I fpinf a YouTube Music mirror so it’s all good : D
Liking it so much so far, it’s definitely my kinda stuff, great lyrics
Kinda late to this but I listened to Linkin Park's new songs today. I'm a huge Linkin Park fan, but I wasn't that interested when I first heard about these songs a while back as LP hasn't released good songs in a long time. But The Emptiness Machine and Heavy is the Crown are absolutely fantastic! I couldn't stop smiling while I was listening to them for the first time. They mark a return to form for the band, especially considering Chester's passing and how they would be able to produce songs that have the LP feel without him. Emily Armstrong is absolutely amazing though and the songs truly feel like old school Linkin Park. I'd say they're on the same level as songs from Meteora and Hybrid Theory. I'm seriously looking forward to the rest of the album in November.
It's seriously crazy as a long-time Linkin Park fan that new songs are coming out and that they're reminiscent of their older songs.
