@Yousef- Out of that list, I like Ice Cube, Ye, The Notorious B.I.G, Dr Dre & Wu Tang Clan and about 50 more that aren't my favourites but I rate in tiers sort of thing, and vary my listening habits according to mood. You have excellent taste in hip hop. What did you think of the Benny the Butcher album, by the way?

@BlAcK_SwOrDsMaN I really loved it! Had to renew my Spotify premium to be able to turn off the forced shuffle feature. It’s exactly my vibe! I always adore hiphop with some deep message underneath.
The first half was pretty great. Blood money might be my favorite.
Don’t make me is also really good. Such a great way to end the album.
@Yousef- Great! If you liked that you might like 'Burden of Proof' even more, it's produced by Hit-Boy of Nas fame, feel free to send any hip hop recommendations you think I might like my way as well!

@Yousef- Also, do you like any jazz? Be great if you could let me know which artists ,if any, you like in that genre too, just a couple of favourites will do. 😂
But yeah, Jazz & Hip Hop are all I really listen to, used to listen to rock and metal and then found music that spoke to me more.

Haha, aight! I’m a bit rusty on jazz recs but I can recommend Latino by Kenneth M Gregory and April in Paris by Count Basie. Hope those are good! @BlAcK_SwOrDsMaN
Playing Xenoblade, feel free to add me on switch or steam. ✌️

@Yousef- Ah yes I am very familiar with Count Basie as I believe he ,together with his orchestra were in a famous movie. Nothing against heavy metal, used to love it, but as I say, I don't listen to it any more ,love any jazz that draws from heavy metal in the right and proper way tho.

@Yousef- That's great jazz, (The Roy Ayers recommendation - loving the album, got it on right now) sister, and I don't want yuou to go to any trouble to find albums for me! but to be fair when I was saying "jazz that draws from heavy metal" I meant more like stuff along the lines of the link below - that is proper heavy metal-influenced jazz!

Oh haha don’t worry about it! Was just grabbing stuff from my backlog. I’ve listened to plenty of stuff from multiple genres, including lots of soul. It’s easy for me to grab stuff from my backlog based on any particular genre and share it with others. Jazz felt like a fun way to challenge my musical knowledge since I listen to it more sporadically.

@Yousef- Ooh, jazz! Jazz isn’t my most listened to song genre, but I have listened to a few jazz songs and really like them. I’ve also listened to different genres of it too.

@Pastellioli why hello there! Thanks for chiming in in our jazz/hip-hop discourse! Yeah it’s a core genre I like, and can still dig back into my backlog one extra time for another rec if asked on command.

@Yousef- You can give me recommendations if you’d like!
I have listened to kikkaikettai (Electro Swing Remix), which is, as the title says, an electro swing jazz remix of a Japanese song. I also listened to Posin by Glenn Gatsby and Educated Feet by Swingrowers. A lot of these are electro swing and involve electronic elements, and I like them a lot.

@Yousef- Moving the discourse back to hip hop. What do you think of Ice Cube's 'Raw Footage' album? (If you've heard it - you mentioned being a fan of his stuff)
