@JohnnyShoulder They've said that it will be a theatrical release only, so I'm hoping they'll show it here on these cold shores as well, but seeing as I finally was able to order the two 4K steelbooks you can bet they will announce the 4K-ultimate-super-duper-deluxe-but-surprisingly-affordable edition of this on the very day the steelbooks drop into my mailbox
@Th3solution How are you, my friend? How is BG3 going? Surely you must be close to the end, now. 😉🤣 I am hardly one to talk, though, been slogging away at my op ELDEN RING Sekiro build for months now, approximately 18 levels to go till it's complete, stats-wise.
How are things going outside of gaming? I am going to a jazz concert soon, and a London shop where I have regularly gotten my guitars repaired for years was recently featured in the Financial Times, a stocks and shares type of paper over here which also deals in arts and culture for the well-to-do types, I don't read it, but a family member does, and I found about it through them.

@BlAcK_Sw0rDsMaN Doing well buddy and yes, still pecking away at the ol’ BG3. I wonder, after all is said and done, how many hours it will take me, and if Elden Ring will surpass it as far as playtime (when I eventually tackle that). Both are known for being so enormous and time-consuming. I’m having a great time with it nevertheless. I’m getting close to max level for my characters, so I have to be close to the end, however there’s many story arcs that have yet to be completed so I’ll likely hit the level cap and still be running through a lot of quests maxed out. I’ve also discovered a few nice late-game weapons and equipment and so there’s still a good reason to explore.
As far as outside of gaming, not much going on except for my usual stuff. That’s really cool about your music interests and your brush with fame there. Hopefully the jazz concert turns out to be a good one!

@graymamba I didn’t watch the live stream but what are your thoughts? I assume this is the rpg that Colin has been working on for the last couple years? I’ve not played any of Lillymo games as they’re of a retro variety and not up my alley, but have you tried any? I know they try to make the trophy hunting aspect a significant focus of the experience since Col is such a trophy fanatic.

@Th3solution I watched some of it and it just seemed very much like a NES-era Castlevania, which was clearly their aim. I’m a bit ambivalent towards it tbh… happy for those who want that kinda thing but I struggle to get motivated for the big 2D games of this era let alone ones that harken back to the 3rd gen 😅. I know Colin’s a huge Castlevania fan, so the development of this no doubt got his creative juices flowing.
I do have all the Lillymo games (picked them up dirt cheap in one sale or another) but haven’t played any of them if I’m honest. I do hear they’re pretty decent… but again, that whole 2D thing just doesn’t really do it for me anymore.
@HallowMoonshadow Sure looks like it. I noticed over in the "Ideas for the site" thread that @ravix and @antdickens talked about a spamming problem that caused a lot of new threads to be created. Maybe the Yotei thread accidentally got caught in the clean-up? Hopefully it's not deleted deleted and can be restored?
Oh no. Hopefully it is restored. It seemed like it was normal accounts that were spamming too (although I didn't click into any of them, it looked to be regular looking names that were posting non-english thread titles in bulk) Hopefully it isn't a hacked account issue.
I believe it was @Oram77 who created the Yotei thread? (I may be misremembering) so hopefully there shouldn't be an issue. If it wasn't your Yotei thread can you remember who first posted it? It was one of the regulars, anyway.
@Metonymy Hey man. How's it going? Just thought I'd check in with you about how work, film endeavours and your musical projects are going?

Work is ticking along as per usual. Film is going well! We’re just working on a little horror project that developed into a trilogy. Well, it’s a bit more non-linear than that. Kind of an anthology, I guess? They’re each very different but thematically connected. And of course the music is a big aspect of the project. Got to write a straight up 80’s tune, so that was fun. It’s a predictably weird project 😄
How are your personal endeavours going currently?

@Metonymy Going well, for the most part, too. Just working on course applications to add to my qualifications for this ongoing journey to become a Counselling Psychologist, it's a long, slow process, but one that I hope will pay off in the end. Musically I am still shredding jazz solos to relax from time to time, when I'm not gaming or reading etc. Listening to more hip hop now than before, but the last time I listened to music I discovered a rock band called The Grandmothers of Invention, featuring members ,of, as you would think, The Mothers of Invention who are now of a certain vintage 😃 .The musicians of the latter were essentially Zappa's backing band, so it's interesting to see them making their own way into the musical world, they only have one live album on Spotify, but it's quite good!
Edit: You're 80s track sounds quite fun! I'd love to hear it!

@FuriousMachine@Ravix looks like some did get caught up in the spam, I will restore them — just need to load them from the backups will do later today.
