Has anyone seen the new Peugot 408 Ad? (UK) the female voice over says …'our souls' i swear everytime i hear it her accent says 'Ar*eholes'. Just wanted it out there so it annoys others too.

So who will be buying these new edited versions of Roald Dahl's books? If you ask me Penguin are just wasting their time and money.

Great job opportunity for anyone wanting to be a sensitivity reader though I guess 😂.

Just noticed today that an Arcade is opening in my town centre. Couldn't quite make out which cabinets are there, but one of them was a 2 player sit down motorbike racing.

Can't remember the last time I went on one. Probably the last time I went bowling, which was a few years back at least.

Hopefully there is enough interest in it to remain open and the yoof don't trash it.

@kyleforrester87 I’ve done some morning gaming before work from time to time. Lately not so much, but occasionally I try. The problem is that you have a firm time-limit and, depending on the game, you can get caught in the middle of a long quest or boss fight when it’s time to go to work. Games that have very limited save points, or unpredictability long cut scenes can be a killer. I’ve had to skip a key cutscene so I can save my progress and dart off to work.

Evening gaming is better because you can just stay up late until you get to a good stopping point. The problem there, of course, is that you can be all amped up after a big story point or an epic combat scenario and it takes time to wind down and let the adrenaline wear off so you can sleep.

Mid-day gaming is probably the best. Too bad that work is a thing.

@kyleforrester87 No. I thought we could get jam all over the arcade controls.

If you’re in the UK and look to the west after sunset you’ll get a nice look at Jupiter and Venus in the sky together right now

@Th3solution I’d like to make better use of mornings, I really struggle with getting up. Just imagine waking up at 5, having a relaxed breakfast, a couple of hours gaming and then make a move to work at 8.

But then would I be too exhausted to stay up past 10 in the evenings 😂

@kyleforrester87 Yeah I usually try and go back to sleep if I wake up that early.

I used to wake up earlyish on the weekends, but since I've moved I find myself sleeping in a bit later.

I love it when any gaming terminology that I use on the reg, creeps into my missus’ lexicon.

For as much as I’d love to get my missus into gaming, she absolutely loves a jigsaw. And today while she was tidying her office, she called out to me “I can’t believe that I have a backlog of 4 jigsaws right now!”.

She’s also been known to refer to something that she thinks is awesome as ‘S’ rank!

That’s my girl ❤️

Just throwing it back to the topic of playing games before work… .
I do have a weird start time. I work 2-10:00pm & I might stay behind for some overtime. When I get back it’s mostly spending time with the other half. Barring the weekend the morning is really when I get my gaming in.

@nomither6 Afternoons works for me. Wouldn’t have it any other way atm, as my wife works a similar shift. Also you get a bunch of things done in the morning.
Nights was definitely the worst did that for about 2 years straight a few years ago. Got home & could not get back to sleep.

@kyleforrester87 Nope I’m an early bird get up around 7-7:30am. I like to get a bit of cardio in and catch up with a podcast before breakfast.
