Topic: The Chit Chat Thread

My partner pointed out Mars to me tonight, visible below the moon. She confirmed it with a sky app thing on her phone. I even fancy that we might be able to see Uranus, it's like a tiny bluish pinprick further up from the star Alberath which is on the right of the moon. Could be wrong about Uranus I suppose but where is the wonder in that? 😀

I just had an absolute brainfart and forgot my bank login ID (it's a number... that I just used without problems a couple hours ago) - and for some reason the bank's system won't let me recover it even though I'm entering all the correct data.

Not the biggest deal as I still have access to the account through the mobile app but if it doesn't come back to me tomorrow I'll have to call their support line and sound like I have onset dementia...

edit: nevermind - I posted this (had to, I guess) and remembered where to find it

@Voltan I locked myself out of my work pc as totally forgot my password a few weeks back. I randomly remembered my old password a few hours later, which was too late as I had already got a new password, but then I was getting the two passwords mixed up for a few days. 😂

I know how you feel the other day at work I went to log into my work computer and was baffled why it kept locking until I realized I was typing my old password instead of the current one as we have to change passwords every couple months for security reasons.

@Kairu I left FB about 7 years ago and have never looked back. Social media has a lot to answer for I think and I have chosen not to be a part of it.

Maybe PS but then I don't see this as social media really. I just enjoy gaming 😜.

In an ideal world I think it would be the best method but we do need some form of PR (not full blown) but something at the very least to break the two party state. Labour and the Tories seem to stand for nothing except re-election anymore
