@kyleforrester87 no I haven't got D2 unfortunately. Borderlands 2 is great tbh. The gameplay loop is not as refined as Destiny but the gear is a lot better and the areas are huge. The story, characters and everything else is better thinking about it. Worth picking up the handsome collection to scratch that looter shooter itch without paying extra dough for stuff in-game.

@themcnoisy tbh I played BL2 a little bit a few years back but I didn’t enjoy it. I’m sure it’s a lot more fun co-op. I don’t think I bought it digitally but I’ll check as I might still own it actually.

@kyleforrester87 Yeah, you'll probably get bored of it, like you did Dying Light. Though picking up @themcnoisy every he runs into trouble would probably make it more fun.

@colonelkilgore accepted mate! I've checked your trophy list and it's impressive. Don't know were you get the patience. Death Stranding was boss, but not so boss I wanted to go up the mountains anymore than I needed to ROFL. I'm on a long weekend away from Saturday, most likely back home Tuesday!

@themcnoisy thanks mate… and funny that you should mention patience as it is definitely a case of that over skill in my case 😅. I noticed you have a pretty impressive haul yourself, will you be going for the plat on Borderlands 2… as I’ll definitely be trying for it, so we could definitely help each other in that case?

… and yeah no rush mate, I’m still finishing of MGS2 and MGS4, so I don’t see myself starting it until a week Monday (I do have that week off too, so I’m hoping to get the vast majority of the game done that week). Enjoy your long weekend!

@kyleforrester87 @Wesker I think we will be starting Borderlands 2 a week Monday (possibly late evening). Only the 2 of us so far. I'm level 11 and just at sanctuary. Happy to wait if y'all want to catch up and get used to the controls again.

@colonelgore doubt I will grab the plat a few of them are character specific. Best off going one of the four original characters, @thrillho advised on the gunserker who can use 2 guns at a time. We will hit up the main game and once we are level 30 shoot into Tina's Dungeons and Dragons game, then polish off the rest if we are up for it!

@Thrillho Did you listen to the final of Aus v NZ in T20 cricket? What did you think about the Aussies winning?/the match overall?

@themcnoisy yeah no probs mate, from what I gather the only online specific trophy is about reviving a co-op partner… so I’m sure we’ll both end up popping that during our first sesh 🤣.

In regards to Tiny Tina… although I have the Handsome Collection, I’ve actually picked up the Tiny Tina… stand-alone as well (the extra plat was just too tempting). So, I don’t know if I’d be up for playing that content twice… depends on how much fun I’m having on the game I guess. Anyway, I look forward to making a start on it 👍

@kyleforrester87 If you didn't enjoy borderlands 2 , then you wouldn't enjoy any other game in the series .

Had to check psnprofiles to see if I'd completed Borderlands 2. I have the trophy so I must have done. Pretty easy breezy game. Best enjoyed in co-op mode IMO.

@Th3solution How are you? How's the NFL and such-watching going? How's Resi Evil 3 going? I posted to you in What Non-PS4 Games are you playing about Fable II recently, as requested, but I don't know if you saw it? @Jimmer-jammer What game(s) are you currently playing? I'm glad your kids enjoyed you stomping around the living room to Charles Lloyd and the Marvels whilst attached to your legs! sounds like great fun!. I'm currently immersed in Fable II, I just cleared out a cave of undead 'hollow men' and got "killed" by a headless hollow man boss, but, since you can't actually die in Fable II I just lost a load of xp before finally dispatching him, as the penalty for "dieing", I've done the first third of the plot now, so looking forward to completing the game in time for Elden Ring.

You may both be interested to know I'm currently enjoying my modified cricket bat guitar (neck of a guitar, body of a cricket bat) when I'm not gaming now, playing some jazz fusion on it!

@TheBrandedSwordsman Doing good, man! Finished up RE3 today actually. I really liked it. I’m probably going to play RE4 later on after a little zombie break.
I did see your post about Fable II and it sounds really fun actually. I don’t have an Xbox, but it’s one of the series that I wish I could experience. Maybe one day I’ll pick up an Xbox but my PlayStation gaming backlog is bigger than I can handle already.
And yeah, still watching some NFL and NBA off and on. It’s been an interesting year, for sure.
