No you are right. I was just being flippant. Just looked up a website about UK national days and there is nothing specifically English. Though I have just discovered something called Swan Upping! It definitely doesn't happen round here though... Think it maybe made up.

@Sorteddan I love finding weird obscure holidays that nobody really actually celebrates! The swan one definitely sounds like the sort of thing that 5 people go to every year 😂

I might start a petition to make that cheese chasing thing a national holiday. I feel that sums up and celebrates what it means to be English, a comical and largely pointless escapade where most people end up hurt.

@Sorteddan If National holidays have to sum up our country then I vote for a day where everyone goes out for a night of heavy drinking and ends up slumped outside the kebab shop.
So after the most hectic, chaotic and stress-inducing week of all-time, I'm finally gonna get around to hooking up the PS3, PS4 & PS5 and unboxing the new TV's.
I havent 'gamed' since a week last Thursday... why do I have Madonna's Like a Virgin playing on loop in my head 😅!?!?
@Thrillho Recently purchased a slightly duff Cricket Bat Guitar for £100 on ebay, spent £125 doing it up, now it plays perfectly. The second cheapest (official) Cricket Bat Guitar on ebay was £600 so I'm chuffed with my decision, especially as that one is no longer available and now the cheapest on there is £700! It has a different sound to most electric guitars I've played previously, due to the fact that the body of the guitar is made from a cricket bat, and it basically sounds like you're playing a cricket bat (in a really good way) if you can imagine that.

@colonelkilgore I take it from the discussion on here that you've moved into your new place now, what's it like? enjoying it?
