@nessisonett have you tried sending them an email to ask if the order was succesfull?
if the money got accepted surly they would have your order in their sytem.
@jdv95 Good idea, to be honest their system was a bit dodgy this morning so it’s not unreasonable to think the email got ‘lost in the post’ so to speak.
@TheBrandedSwordsman Not sure I completely understand how ‘competitive reading’ works, but by the description I think that I do some of that, yes. I’m bad at it, but I do it. I try to push myself to organize and structure my daily tasks so I can optimize some game playing time, but it’s often that I still run out of time. And I’m the kind of person that prefers having a decent chunk of time to devote to a game session or a book reading session, and I’m often left short. So I just mess around and waste the time in the end. 😅

@nessisonett perhaps one of my favourite lines ever in print is now " a “Dundee” can be used to refer to one idiot, while ‘Dundee United’ has become the plural, for a collection of idiots." 😂😂 I feel like I'm a reading a curiously Tayside centric copy of the onion...
"Preoccupied with a single leaf, you won’t see the tree. Preoccupied with a single tree, you’ll miss the entire forest. Don't be preoccupied with a single spot. See everything in its entirety...effortlessly. That is what it means...to truly "see." "
@Th3solution@colonelkilgore My decision to return to gaming over attempts at professional musicianship has today been cemented by solving a difficult environmental puzzle in SotTR, Sol, it's called the Trial of the Eagle you may remember it, and the feeling of elation I got from solving that puzzle made it clear in my mind that I wanted to be a gamer for the foreseeable future. It's resolved. I'm at peace.

@TheBrandedSwordsman Great to hear! There are some really clever puzzle tombs in SotTR.
And yes, I do recall that one. It’s quite memorable. There are so many good puzzles in that game with just the right difficulty to make it a challenge but not too frustrating.
When it’s all complete I’ll be curious if you rate TR higher than UC

@TheBrandedSwordsman Ha, it is. It’s one I’ve got saved in my random gifs folder on my laptop and it seemed apt!
I have played UC2-4 and really enjoyed them. It’s been a while since I played the games though. I still have Lost Legacy to try at some point too.
Great result in the cricket and it’s great to see the bowlers can deliver as well as the batsmen; it’s not very often you hear a T20 match is won on the bowling.
Even happier about the rugby result (and performance!) from today
@Thrillho Would you agree with what me and @Th3solution were saying about the UC games? (That they are basically Indiana Jones-style Hollywood Blockbusters in a game format?)

@TheBrandedSwordsman Yeah, it’s a pretty good description of the games. But they show that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with a more linear game and the games have some very memorable set pieces. I still think the convoy scene towards the end of UC2 is my favourite.
Who knows how the film will be. Holland isn’t someone I’d have had in my mind for Drake and Mark Wahlberg is interesting for Scully..
