@Kidfried Hang in there, boss. COVID has found a way to screw everything up. Delays in other unrelated health care and services has been one major collateral impact. I guess the bright side is that it’s not life threatening, although I realize it’s not very comforting when you still feel lousy. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery!

@Kidfried Sorry to hear of the problems you've been having. Covid making things even more uncertain definitely doesn't help and I am sure no-one will blame you for taking priority for yourself over this place!

@Kidfried I was thinking earlier and I had something similar a few years back. It was like a sharp pulsing pain by the side of my stomach. Spent the May Bank Holiday weekend in hospital. Had all kind of tests and scans. But they never did find out what was wrong. The painkillers gave me awful diarrhoea though which they weren't supposed to. The pain did eventually recede and I don't get it any more.

Hopefully what ever is wrong with you isn't serious and you make a full recovery soon.

@Kidfried That’s rough. Hope they can find out what’s wrong and get you feeling better. Have they given you anything in the meantime to help with your symptoms?

@Kidfried Only just saw this and I hope you get some rest and feel a lot better soon. Getting poorly with all that is going on is no joke.

Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot

I have been working hard all week, and I'm gonna dive into the new Valorant act immediately. Hopefully, you guys can also have a great weekend playing some games or just getting to rest after a tiring week!

@RogerRoger I think that gif needs to come with an epilepsy warning, like at the start of video games!

@Kidfried Political ads are insane over here right now, as you might imagine. Television, YouTube, and radio is almost intolerable. I’m not sure how political ads work in other countries, but it almost comical the way each side tries to paint the other.
”Don’t vote for John Doe! He voted 10 times to empty all the prisons and has a proposed tax plan to charge you for oxygen consumption! Vote for Frank Schmoe. He’s tough on crime and wants to give all citizens free candy and has the cure for cancer.” [cue patriotic music and a flying flag in the background]

@nessisonett You're a bit quiet recently, old chum, busy with studying?

@Kidfried When you say nationalist populist party, I still don't know which one you're talking about lol.

@Draco_V_Ecliptic Yeah, the workload’s been pretty insane to be honest. It’ll be fine, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now and at least I’m off for Christmas in just over a month!

@Th3solution I saw the dog advert for Biden. Somehow, with everything going on in the world, I don’t think voters would suddenly vote for Biden because he has a dog and Trump doesn’t. It’s like a spoof.

The university grind is really starting to pile up now lol

I have weekly quizzes in Chemistry in addition to an ongoing assignment in my engineering class and tests in November for both Linear Algebra and Calculus

Literally the only thing keeping me from completely burning myself out is the fact that I'm receiving the PS5 as a birthday present with Demon's Souls and Spider-Man from my dad lol. It's like a motivator at this point

@TheFrenchiestFry Yeah, I’m trying to weigh up if spending a scholarship I won on a PS5 would mean I’m going to hell. I sure can’t justify the purchase with regular old money and uh, it’s a really good motivator for studying, I swear 😂😂

@TheFrenchiestFry Dr Kawashima will make me smart, love that polygonal hottie.

@Thrillho I feel like that’s the absolute best thing to spend a tax rebate on, it’s money that you don’t account for so it really does just feel like free money!

@nessisonett I can remember getting a PS2 quite near launch on my credit card. Think that started a long downward spiral which I've only just recovered from a few years back.
