Decided to draw something in Procreate as of lately I use it only for pixel art for my game It is nice to change the style from time to time.

@AgentCooper Hey pal. How are you? I thought that you would be the best person to ask about this. As per our discussion the other day in The Chit Chat Thread, about closing the book on things and moving on, my next project after I am done with the whole 'gaming thing', should probably be an attempt to paint and draw stuff. I've dabbled, in the past, but don't know of any comprehensive guides for a buddying young (hmm. well not too sure about that, let's just say 'youngish') artist. Could you kindly recommend an appropriate text?

@AgentCooper The shredded wheat on the walls could make a nice piece of art.

Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

@AgentCooper Thanks man, I appreciate the thought and sentiment behind your words. I was thinking of perhaps painting or drawing samurai-themed or sword-focused works to begin with, but I might move up to that, after something more simple, perhaps a Shamisen or something. Anyway I am quite keen on obtaining a copy of The Artist's Manual, to begin with, asap, anyway, as I say, the gesture is much appreciated and I wish you all the best with all matters shredded-wheat related!
Take care Coop!
Regards,
B$.

My next project

I LOVE hunters and this creature is one of the best in the universe!

Actually, I wonder why I did not make a Predator before!

Zuljaras

The "net" details on this Predator took waaay too much time I decided to make the pattern with thread and super glue for better details, and I think it is worth it Most of it will be hidden by armor but the important bits will still show

Finally done with the sculpting part!

Here is the Predator with all of his weapons and attachments!

The mask is removable and attached with magnets

@Zuljaras Looking good, what did you use for reference? Kenner? NECA? or some of the graphic novels?

These violent delights have violent ends & in their triumph die, like fire & powder Which, as they kiss, consume.

GirlVersusGame

@Zuljaras It's really impressive, how long did all of the dreadlocks take? Have you ever considered making The Thing from the 1982 John Carpenter movie? The Blair Monster is pretty freaky and detailed.

Zuljaras

@GirlVersusGame Around an hour and a half because I did them in 2 bakes. One for the "tentacle" and 1 for the clips.

And I just saw that monster and it looks really disgusting Unfortunately I have not seen the movie (I know, shameful) so I have not considered it.
