@velio84 What game is your third screenshot from? The one with the rusty ol' train on the right?
@Kidfried Argh! I don't even play Nintendo games, and yet I can immediately hear the music which should be accompanying that Super Mario 64 screenshot, and it's driving me bonkers!!
"We want different things, Crosshair. That doesn't mean that we have to be enemies."
@velio84 Ah, cool (literally)! Some part of my brain recognised it, but I couldn't put the name to the image. I haven't played it myself, but a friend has, and had shown me screenshots before. Anyway, cheers; it's a beautiful shot, as are your others! I particularly like that first one!
I’ve always preferred tropical and colorful levels in my games. The blandness of snow and ice from a visual standpoint has never excited me in a game. And don’t even get me started on the slippery aspects of ice levels in platformers. Those should be banned.
That said, I found the snowball fight in The Last of Us Part II to be a nice, quaint little diversion. Well done. Also, recent memories are fond of the ice tracks in Dirt 5.
The screenshot I grabbed off the internet doesn’t do it justice, but I love the neon shining through the ice —
