@Tjuz Thanks for confirming Pretendo’s lineup substitution. Trails is sure to delight its fans next month (and hopefully the critics too, which is all we care about). Kena will be a great game up for grabs in 2027

And TjuziMax has a real dilemma on their hands! (And colons. Last I checked, alcohol is not a good constipation remedy by the way). On one hand, switching out Neverway instead of No Ghosts would bypass this whole counter-pick supplemental superglued and duct-taped rule amendment situation. Not to mention it would ensure that BoobiSoft only gets a 0 for its counter-pick. On the other hand it limits your own choices for a substitute game, whereas switching No Ghosts would mean you can select any game without restrictions of it being a small and unknown sleeper title. So it boils down to whether you want to save your own skin or whether you want to try and screw over Rav for the good of the entire industry. I don’t envy your having to make such a Sophie’s choice!

If it’s any consolation, know that we aren’t out of the woods yet with the other two counter-picks still on the board. Valor Mortis and Forever Ago could still easily be delayed and although I’m locked in by virtue of having used my one exchange already, iDoss could be in your same position trying to make a switch on the fly and we’d have to address the issue all over again.

Anyway, I’m eagerly anticipating what the TjuziMax board decides! This is a Fantasy Critic historical moment!

Edit: Since I feel sorry for you, I’ll drop a couple clues about other games coming out that I had on my short list to consider instead of Trails. There’s a highly anticipated licensed game coming out next month that seems to have some buzz. It takes place on a desert planet… it’s, er… “spicy”… and stars soil-dwelling subterranean invertebrates. 😅 Another I was considering is in your wheelhouse as it’s rhythm based, and comes out 15/10. There’s also a good puzzle game coming out 8/10 that might score well based on the developer’s prior work.

Does any of that help your bowel function?

@Th3solution Screw the fans! I've noticed Star Wars: Zero Company has launched to less-than-stellar user reviews on PC, which seems to be regarding performance issues. How does the hog keep getting away with slighting the PC users, yet getting high scores nonetheless? Someone needs to open an investigation into his QA department.

I think the more appropriate naming for this Sophie's Choice would be a Ravix's Choice. Do I give him the opportunity of earning more points or not? When all is said and done, I have a feeling TjuziMax is not going to be particularly competitive in the final rankings, but I'd hate to give him a leg up against my more appreciated competitors. We will have to see how graceful I end up being...

I do appreciate the hints! I'll have to do less vibes-based research and more proper research to use my substition. My previously trademarked vibes-based research clearly has not ended well for me thus far. It's time to watch trailers, look up impressions and diligently keep an eye on whatever developers has said! Like I said, a long toilet break. I will be back with a vengeance!

  • You have no idea how much I appreciated that reference, that was really funny.

Spoon the fans! I've noticed Star Wars: Zero Company has launched to less-than-stellar user reviews on PC, which seems to be regarding performance issues.

  • Of course it would after I did buy it on PC first, it looks PS5 might be the best port of call 'if' the reviews are favorable.

Thank you for doing or saying whatever you did with Amber, she calmed down after and became less Hulk Angry and Hulk Smash to Hulk Chill and Hulk Smoke Hash (this is weed I think) either way we spent four-hours on another post, it's hidden among the stacks of the Movie Thread, it's a little weird but it's all true. You asked for a little context before in private and Amber shut it down because it freaks her out. I respect that, but I did want to say more at the time and wasn't allowed. KaZ helped me write that too, there were many smoking breaks, many 'I need a minute', but I think I accomplished something positive. It's not all preachy, it's all science, something I've tried to explain to her before. Actually I forgot we baked cookies on Whataspp this week. I never did that before in real life but this I think counts, moment, I have pictures.

I did the part where you read out the recipe, even the measurements. They start of as dough and get shaped and sugar and syrups get applied, then go on paper/trays, go in an over for some time, then you eat them.

@GirlVersusGame For what it's worth, I've booted it up for a short 40 minute play session earlier, and I haven't run into performance issues (yet). Obviously being just in the tutorial areas means I can't really say for certain they wouldn't still appear, but so far so good!

And no worries. Frankly, I didn't have a very long conversation with Amber, so I feel like she would've mostly calmed down on her own! I'll take a look and dig up the post you made over on the Movie Thread. With the business lately, I've barely been able to keep up with my tags, let alone all these other threads I'm less regularly engaged in! The cookies look really nice. I hope they were worth the effort!

  • I've installed it and have been getting ready to play but my notifications are over two-hundred and I'm still replying to people from some days ago. My Sir has been away so I spent a lot of time posting and talking to people, I didn't realize how much, now I have and it's a lot.

The cookies look really nice. I hope they were worth the effort!

  • It definitely was, we waited until really early in the morning and just went for it, I'd like to try again. She mailed me some peas from her garden too, frozen and hidden in a stuffed animal, we have certain channels like that. It's how I sent her that monitor last week and actually through the power of communicative skills I talked her into keeping it. Or rather she saw how Marathon and these things looked on it and then 'oh my God I see the light my child'.

I hope the peas arrive still frozen, she sent some other things from her garden too, I'm not going to eat them just put them in my flower-press and put them in my journal with the A.I. drawings and things. I can't flower-press a cookie, it would crumble and become dust. I have some whiskers for her kitties too and some of their fur, because I see them often.

And no worries. Frankly, I didn't have a very long conversation with Amber, so I feel like she would've mostly calmed down on her own!

  • Lucky you, for me it was I think one-hour, perhaps longer.

I'll take a look and dig up the post you made over on the Movie Thread. With the business lately, I've barely been able to keep up with my tags, let alone all these other threads I'm less regularly engaged in!

  • She said same thing that people get busy with work and things, so did everyone else in the thread, I wasn't sure if someone did what they did in Germany again because I thought we nuked Europe, and that's why we were at sea for weeks, but people on here kept responding so I knew everyone was okay. Someone in the comments said we were going to, things got jumbled. I didn't want to think that you had all died so I kept checking. That's why they had an intervention and said if I'm using the comments section to be very careful and then yesterday the person said they walk past bullet-holes I left in their walls, hence she went Hulk-mode yesterday too, or it was the day before, either way I'll be careful, use ignore/etc. I don't want to waste moderators time either, it's a person not a machine, they probably have to deal with other things. I wouldn't like to moderate comments, I'd see a lot of negativity, perhaps often, then over time start to lose a little faith in people, that was just one comment and it did that to me. Then she and some others here reminded me that people like that aren't worth the time or the upset.

@GirlVersusGame Well, I hope you get through those endless notifications quick enough that you can give it a try! It seems like a fair few people are playing it currently over in the Star Wars thread, so there'll be a nice bit of a community as we all explore the game at our own pace.

She's mailing you frozen peas in a stuffed animal?! Does that mean you'd have to rip open the stuffed animal to get to the peas? That's one hell of a smuggling ring. I'm glad you were able to convince her to keep the monitor. She deserves a nice surprise once in a while! Or maybe you've cursed her, because now she'll never be able to get back to the basic colours of your more budget displays. I'm somewhat glad I've never had one of these super advanced monitors exactly because of that!

I'm glad this forum can give you a little peek into the world to see if countries are fine or not. Lord knows it'd definitely be mentioned on here if we suddenly started getting nuked! But yeah, the comments are a bad place to me in my experience. There's barely ever any constructive conversation, and it feels like a good portion of them are there to start flame wars more often than not. Not that I haven't been in a flame war myself once or twice on the forum... but I like to think I'm a lot more level-heaed for sure. That person you mentioned in particular, it sucks. On one hand, you can understand why they'd react so strongly to someone who is Russian. Is it fair? No. Is it totally misdirected, especially in your case? Yes. But it sucks to know the place it comes from is one filled with lots of harm that would've understandably altered how they view the world, and as such, folks like yourself. It just shows how the actions of some can mean a lot for a larger population that doesn't even necessarily agree with what's being carried out.

  • I got through most of them, I think. They were building up fast because I stayed awake for a couple of days and kept talking to people. I actually did sleep last-night, finally, it was definitely needed. When I saw they'd posted the Weekend Thread too early I thought 'oh no I missed a whole day'. So did everyone else.

She's mailing you frozen peas in a stuffed animal?! Does that mean you'd have to rip open the stuffed animal to get to the peas? That's one hell of a smuggling ring.

  • The last items were hidden inside some cat toys, it was a set of ones that looked lie fish and she put some things in there then sewed them up, it sort of is like smuggling, we do it through private mail boxes then reroute it to look like Amazon and things. It's only supposed to go one way, I broke the rules and sent her something, she'd been really stressed, I had to do something.

I'm glad you were able to convince her to keep the monitor. She deserves a nice surprise once in a while! Or maybe you've cursed her, because now she'll never be able to get back to the basic colours of your more budget displays. • The trick is to get one with pixel care, it will give you reminders to run the pixel cleaning and then when you accept it will do it's thing, five-minutes later it will turn ac on and you can game again. Proximity sensors means it knows when you step away and turns itself off too. Older OLEDS weren't good, the new generations are safer and it came from Germany. So I imagine ASUS are German, if you ever feel the temptation to make the jump look at their ROG Republic of Gamers range.

I'm glad this forum can give you a little peek into the world to see if countries are fine or not.

  • Me too, but having to do it doesn't feel too great.

There's barely ever any constructive conversation, and it feels like a good portion of them are there to start flame wars more often than not. Not that I haven't been in a flame war myself once or twice on the forum... but I like to think I'm a lot more level-heaed for sure.

  • Most can be level-headed especially when you just talk to a person like a person, some like you said just want to argue, I'm being more careful.

That person you mentioned in particular, it sucks. On one hand, you can understand why they'd react so strongly to someone who is Russian. Is it fair? No. Is it totally misdirected, especially in your case? Yes.

  • True but if you look at what I said to Kickz in Chat Chat it might make sense, I had a long think about all of that, tried to figure out why I didn't react a certain way, and more or less came up with a conclusion.

Either way life goes on, Ravix still keeps stealing cookies from the witches bakery and everyone seems to be gaming and enjoying their time with the hobby. That three page post I mentioned is gone, I thought it was done in Chat Chat, it was the Movie Thread so it was off topic, I'm sure the Moderator was like 'what in Hades are my poor eyes even seeing', or anyone else who saw it, probably.

I still have it. The bulk of it was the Near Death Experience I had when I was six, that whole thing with my Grandmum's home that I told you about before, the running away from that man, the steps etc, that was all correct, I left out the part where he did technically send me from here to 'there'. Everything I saw there changed how I see life, the world, love, caring about everything and everyone, death changes everyone but I came back. It scares Amber because she doesn't like that topic and kept shutting it down when I tried to tell you in private. I can always just send it as a document too, whichever, it's a quick read, all correct, but very subjective, I'm more grateful for that experience than anything else in life. I don't fully understand it because we're not meant to, I just know it happened and everyone else sees for themselves eventually too. There was no pain, no fear, just here one moment, somewhere else the next.

Ouch, Robert! A 7/10 for Dawnwalker? You hurt me!
Thankfully the other critic sites saw the genius of the game and it’s squeezed out an 85 so far on OpenCritic. I was expecting a little more, but got sandbagged by Push Square. 😣

But oh, how nice to see the universe is kept in balance because Rob gave me a 9/10 on Onimusha! Open Critic at 86 so roughly the same.

I honestly expected Dawnwalker to win the head-to-head, but I’ll take these two scores.

@Th3solution I was waiting for the American time-zone to switch so I'd see the Pretendo Ent reaction, it's four in the AM so it looks like you've clocked in. The bad part of the game seems to be an empty open-world and boring enemy types, it's a shame. They'll probably patch it up over the following months.

@GirlVersusGame 😄 I had a pretty tough day today, otherwise I would have seen the reviews a bit earlier. Even as it stands I don’t really have time or any remaining mental energy to read the full reviews. Hopefully I can gather a few brain cells tomorrow to be able to absorb and enjoy them.
