@themightyant@Titntin Baring some safety car/strategy gains I think this will be another win for Max tomorrow. Whilst this track is nowhere as bad as Suzuka, it will be harder than the last race to overtake especially for the McLarens who are down in top speed. It's clear their dominance only stands out in clear air.
Looks like Carlos has really got the hang of the Williams now, outperforming his old Ferrari again 😄
@Titntin@Kairuuu yes start all important for many of them if they want to gain easier places.
@BearsEatBeets completely missed Carlos’ performance with all the other drama. Good for him.
I predicted Max for the title at the start of the season because I thought he would Maximise points and the McLarens would squabble over wins. So far he’s there or there abouts
Yeah pretty good race after all. Great start from Oscar and typical Max not willing to concede a corner and possibly costing him in the long run. If he had accepted it and given the place back he may have had a better shot at the win.
I think Lando should be pretty happy with that recovery. The few laps fighting Lewis might have cost him the podium. I didn't realise until that fight that they had moved the DRS line to after the final corner.
Good job from Charles and some more decent points for Williams.
Just caught up with this as was out at a birthday celebration yesterday. OK race, mostly front loaded, action at the start, after that most people in their own race. Well done Oscar, solid all season and deserved winner and championship leader.
Great drive by Max but Max & Red Bull still unable to accept a loss at a corner. @BearsEatBeets As you said he might have done better to concede it. Surprised he was so close to Oscar at the end. They were fast. I do agree with Max that he should be able to speak his mind the FiA, in particular Ben Sulayem, need to change.
Charles great drive, first race podium for Ferrari this year.
Brilliant recovery from Lando. Lost all the points on Saturday. It was odd how much faster he was than Oscar in parts of the race.
George was just losing ground at the end. Kimi and Lewis just in their own race against themselves really. Lewis a long way off Charles and just not happy in that car.
Behind that good points for Williams, great teamwork to hold off Hadjar who had another solid race to get a point for VCARB.
Alonso may have to have a word with his pupil Bortoletto who almost put him in the wall. Solid drives from Lawson and Bearman. And Yuki getting nothing with a DNF.
Anyone have rain for Miami on their Bingo card? After a entertaining Sprint quali the weather should hopefully make the Sprint a bit spicier. Awful luck for Charles, can Ferrari get that car ready for the main qualifying later?
The rain could cause a bit of a stir. I haven't watched any of the build-up so I don't know if it plans to dry up during the race or anything. Hopefully it's a good one either way!

Well that packed a lot of incidents into a short race. I think Kimi lost of lead of his own mistake at the start but the pit-stop incident was really unlucky for him and he reacted brilliantly to avoid a potentially disastrous accident.
Lots to still sort out before qualifying.
That was a lot of fun. Can't believe Norris lucked out via safety car again..
Tough for kimi, he deserved better.
Hamilton on softs was a good call and his pace was huge for the conditions, he has to be very happy to be 3rd.
Yuki make points which is all he could have hoped for.
Was an okay sprint given the conditions. Having around a third of it being led by the safety car certainly doesn't help the entertainment aspect of it.
Once again though, we see inconsistency from the FIA. Verstappen doesn't get a penalty for a false start for doing the exact same thing he complained about Norris for doing two weeks prior who did get a penalty. I don't get how one can be a penalty whilst the other is not. He got his comeuppance in the race anyway during the pit stop. Shame he messed up Antonelli's race though.
Looking forward to qualifying. Would love to see the Mercs pull something out of the bag.

Was away yesterday and just caught up. That was a brilliant sprint though we were robbed of an incredible finish with the safety car, Lando v Oscar and Hamilton lapping a lot faster and on the hunt.
Then there was quali where Ferrari looked like the 5th fastest car, Lewis’ onboard was horrendous, having to fight every inch of road. Too soon to halt all funding on this years car and put it towards 2026?
@themightyant Ah, that could be why then. I never did see a shot of it myself but he looked way off on the onboard.
Hopefully we get a good race later on. It's still early days but I wouldn't be surprised if Mercedes finish 2nd in the Constructor's Championship this year. Outside of the McLaren, it seems like the most consistent car. Depends if and when Ferrari can sort their seemingly self-inflicted issues out.

Feels odd getting ready for a race this late. Only discovered about all the late penalties in the Sprint this morning. Real shame for Alex dropping out of the points. I'm hoping Williams have a good race to make up for it.
Will we actually see many overtakes.
