I have several broken teeth that don't hurt, but are rotten and have been waiting till I can hitch a ride to get my booster shots before I go to the dentist. However I recently heard that people have actually died from infections by not getting broken teeth extracted. Should I suck it up and just go to the dentist despite being extremely at risk for covid or should I get my booster shots first?

If they don’t hurt you are not likely to just drop dead. And if they are infected, believe me you’ll know about it.
But any untreated dental work just gets more and more expensive. If they are broken it’s a matter of time before you need expensive root canal treatment with crowns or even extraction and implants. It’s much easier (and MUCH cheaper. Hundreds or thousands cheaper) to fill the tooth before it gets that bad. If you are not wealthy, it’s not even a debate.
And while I am giving advice, floss. Floss floss floss. Floss and quit brushing if you need to.
