Is there a way for my son to play online on his ps5 and my daughter to use his network subscription to play online on her ps4 (his old ps4) at the moment he can play online on his ps5 but she can't on the ps4, I've created a user profile for her on the network using his account but it won't let her go online. Any ideas?

Similar problems here. I tried logging into the wife’s account on the PS4 to boost a trophy for a back compat game on my ps5. It now says she can’t go online on the PS4. She doesn’t have plus as she’s never needed one given I have it and the PS4 is set as my primary.
I presume that only one Primary is possible now, either ps5 or PS4, at least as far as sharing plus privileges goes. Very strange. If anyone actually knows the rules some explanation would be appreciated.

I’m successfully going online with my PS5 piggybacking off my brothers PlayStation plus. Whilst he is also using it on his PlayStation 4 to go online through his account.

So in my situation he has set the PlayStation five as his primary console and he’s only able to access PlayStation plus through his account on the PlayStation four. Whilst my none PlayStation plus account is able to piggyback on the PlayStation five.

@Ryall
Maybe it’s just a problem the other way round then. I might eventually put the game save from ps5 to PS4 via plus and get the trophy on PS4 while the other account piggybacks on the ps5.
