Can anyone recommend a decent keyboard and mouse for the ps5 please?, if at all compatible!

The majority of keyboards and mice will be compatible, there will be exceptions though.

I use a Steelseries Sensei Ten mouse and a cheap and cheerful Sades Blademail keyboard. I have also used a Sharkoon Drakonia mouse in the past.

Games I played with K&M were COD Cold War and MW2.
