Topic: Displayed game list incorrect

I've stumbled upon an odd issue with my PS5. Since I've downloaded and played the RE8 demo, the games that are displayed on my PS5 under my profile (both the trophy and game list) show random games. For instance, it shows I've played Lonely Mountains for x hours and I played it last five days ago, which isn't true. When I then select it to look at the trophies, it turns into the Castlevania Collection, the game which it should actually be. The list even sometimes shows games I've never played. Every time I use my PS5 the list randomly changes. At first I thought someone else was using my console in some mysterious way, but it appears the error just concerns displaying the wrong games, as the correct game always is displayed whenever I select something to look at the trophies.

Anyone else had the same issue? It's not a terrible bug by any account, but it is just a tad annoying!

@ShaiHulud yeah I had the same issue. I noticed a game high up on the list that I hadn't played in ages and noticed the trophy amounts were wrong, but when I selected it the details were for the correct recently played game. When I came back out it was showing the correct title. I haven't looked at it since so don't know if it will do it again.

Yes, I'm having the exact same issue. I noticed it in my Library on PS App, actually. Everytime I refresh the screen, it shows me another random game as "played". Totally weird.

I don't have a PS5, but I've also noticed this on the app.

Thought I was the only one, so I guess that means Sony must be aware of it. Hopefully this will get fixed with the next system update.

Same, PS5 being delivered this week (🤞🏻) and setting up a few things in the app and noticed a game as latest played that I've never touched.

Whenever i delete a game it appears as wrong game on my library. I delete resident evil demo and it appears as demons souls,i delete mortal kombat and it appears as hitman. I need to restore licenses everytime to fix this.

Hmm... yeah this finally happened to me. I had seen the reports and the recent PushSquare article, but until today didn’t have it happen but now my “Recently Played” list on the app just showed Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments and not only have I never played that game, I don’t even own it nor have ever even clicked on it in the store that I recall. Strange.

I exited the app and then reopened it and the game disappeared from list so it was a short-lived glitch. No harm done, I guess. Maybe the PS Store will accidentally place games I don’t own I to my library. Wouldn’t that be a nice turn of events. That is, unless it’s The Unicorn Princess or something like that. 😅

@Th3solution Whenever i delete a game it appears as wrong game on my library. For example I delete resident evil and it appears like demons souls in my library I need to restore licenses everytime to fix this. 3 days ago there is a game called knowledge is power in my library. It should be mortal kombat. Psn is really acting weird

@Koftehor1 Interesting. I don’t remember having deleted any games recently. I think I cleared some out last week though. I didn’t have to restore licenses to make mine go away though. It is a really bizarre situation with PSN.
