Topic: Asking to free up space on wrong drive..

Alright people? Frustrating issue here. I have an external drive hooked up to the PS5 to download my PS4 games to. I also have the option checked to download PS4 games to external drive.

But, when I try to download, I get an error message that I need to free up more space on the INTERNAL?!

I then have to delete my PS5 games to free up the necessary space on the internal just to download to external.. bonkers.

Anyone else come across this?

I haven't but heard someone talking about this on a giantbomb.com podcast. Seems like you need some internal space to write too before it transfers

I’m sure it must be a software bug that can be fixed. Internal space is tight as it is. How I wish we had an option to store PS5 games on the external drive too..
