I would love to see Sega roll a bunch of games from previous systems as a packaged deal like they use to with Sega Genesis games. Their Sega Master System has always been overlooked. There were many titles, if Sega owns the rights, I would love to boot up from time to time on the PS4 such as the Master System classics: The Ninja, Black Belt, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Astro Warriors, etc.
On the flip side, I would greatly love to see a remastered version of Shenmue 1 & 2 (maybe with 3 coming it could happen).
I remember Panzer Dragon was fun from the Dream Cast and I can't remember if the Die Hard game was the arcade translation or the totally remade based off the trilogy. Those were fun. Anyone else think Sega could add some rare classics as a bundle?
A Dreamcast collection would be another good idea: Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Sonic Shuffle, Ecco Defender Of The Universe, Speed Devils, Tee Off, Seaman. It would also be nice to have them re-release the ones that they made for X-box only...Toe Jam And Earl 3, Panzer Dragoon Orta and Shenmue 2. In all honesty, I was told that when Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection was being released for PS3, that there would be a bunch of add-on content that would feature more games. It would really be nice if they would release a bunch of other company classics that were only on Genesis.
Genesis seems to get the collection attention all the way back to the days of the Genesis with their greatest hits collection on the Genesis. I forgot Shenmue 2 was an Xbox title. I imagine Sega still owns the rights to it.
@Stalepanther: Sega genesis/megadrive collection on the 360 was the best compilation I've ever bought it had 40 games and loads of hidden arcade and master system games (I may be confused on the latter as I had a sonic compilation for the xbox which had hidden master system games too) - Shining force 2, streets of rage 2, sonic, vectorman, comic zone. Wow what a collection.
I cant see it happening as Sega have had loads of success releasing small bundles of 3 games for download.
But if they did I would want to see some mega 32 and Sega cd games (Kojima made a game I've never played for this) Saturn games and some obscure arcade releases.

Sounds like a collection. Do you remember off hand which Master System games were on it? I think everyone should try The Ninja (not the arcade version, but the Master Systems).

I said this in the Rare Replay section of the forum where people were wondering if Sony would do something similar. There are too many classic Sega series and one offs that have been left for far too long (put the ones I want back below) and titles available on one console but not others, such as Sonic 3 not being on PSN.
NiGHTS, Rez, Panzer Dragoon, Burning Rangers, Sakura Wars, Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5, Jet Set Radio Future, the Shining series, Pulseman, Spike Out, Segagaga, Virtual On, Typing Of the Dead, Chu Chu Rocket, Skies Of Arcadia, Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighters and, of course, the Shenmue games.
A series of collections for each of Sega's main four home consoles, full of the games from each would be brilliant. Could have a digital version of them all, sell them individually or in bundles. Collections for arcade games and title released since Sega went multiformat would also be cracking. There could also be a special edition for each console filled with memorabilia or a book about the console. There's a fabulous History Of Nintendo series of books who's makers have shown interest in doing Sega versions so they could be included too.
Sadly Sega don't seem to want to make easy money. No wonder they're having to apologise to us Sega diehards.
@Stalepanther: Panzer wasn't on Dreamcast by the way. The first three games were on the Saturn (the RPG is still sensational) and the fourth came out on Xbox. Besides that there's just the Game Gear (really!) title in the series.

SEGA makes Football Manager and Total War now. Sad but true.
EDIT: To clarify, there's nothing wrong with those franchises, but hte SEGA of old and SEGA of today are very different companies. I'd certainly buy tons of ported Dreamcast, Saturn, and Mega Drive games - but I doubt they'll do it.
@get2sammyb: But football manager and total war are good. Not my cup of tea but great. But there in lies the problem - how have they ended up with these franchises whilst sor, nights, shining force and hang on are left out?
The afterburner remake was amazing a few years ago. They should make these type of games more.

@get2sammyb Sega publish those two games. They don't make them.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi As with a number of Treasure games, whatever company makes the machine the game is on actually co-owns the title. So Guardian Heroes is a Sega IP. So are Alien Soldier, Guardian Heroes and the criminally underrated Dynamite Headdy. Same sort of deal with Sega owning the rights to Bayonetta but having no say in the series and Sin and Punishment being a Nintendo IP.

Can't edit my above comment to say to you @get2sammyb that it's a good job Sega publishes those two titles as it's where most of their money comes from in Europe!

And this is why I have taken to keeping my old consoles or buying ones I never owned and just buy the games that way. I am tired of waiting for companies to bring their older games to current download services, and I doubt they will make completions like they did back in the PS2 era.

@rastamadeus: They own the developers, though, right? I thought Creative Assembly was a SEGA studio. Which makes it even more bonkers that they're making the new Halo Wars game.
This is modern SEGA: renting out their studio to make a Halo game for Microsoft.
I have this little Mega Drive collection console-type thingie that you just plug into the TV and lets you play all of the original Sonics, it was only about £10 in Argos (UK store) I think. Best buy in a while
If not, a collection of SEGA classics for PS4 wouldn't go amiss. Will they do it? With Rare Replay doing so well, I'd say it's not totally out of the question
@Anchorsam_9: I've got one of them too. Its just inconvenient and most mega drive fans are now living with other none mega drive fans (I'm the only md fan out of 5 of us in this house) so its not that simple.
@Quintumply: RISTAR is overrated but the attract screen startups tune is absolutely top tunage I will try to get a link...

Wait for 35 or so seconds and then probably the best riff kicks in. Bear with it
