After finishing the story in Death Stranding last night i think i'll keep playing for the platinum i have about 72% after 75 hours playing. Can't stop thinking about the game, It's up there with Nier Automata and RDR2 as some of my all time gaming experiences!
@MightyDemon82 Ah man, that’s high praise! NA and RDR2 are two of my favorites this generation, especially from a narrative standpoint. Looks like I’m going to need to play Death Stranding for sure.

Hey everyone. If you haven't had a look yet, please go and vote in the Push Square community run screenshot of the year competition, there are a few hours left for the public vote and you can find all of the pictures and information in the forum post 😁

@Th3solution 112 hours. That's nowhere near as fast as it could be done though. I always play games without a guide and then if I have collectables or whatever I guide them up at the end, but the guides were annoying me and stuff so I did loads of it without help and I really shouldn't have done that because I bet I added like 20 or 30 hours onto my time.
Twenty-six months later, and after a little bit of grinding to clear the final hurdle, I've finally earned the platinum trophy for Star Wars: Battlefront II and gotten my current total to 35.
Might actually be my rarest platinum, with a 0.3% achievement rate. I'm not surprised, as most people (myself included) would settle into a favourite class and never explore other approaches enough to unlock the associated specific trophies. Hence why it's felt a little grindy these past couple days, as I only had two trophies left and thought "Why not?" but it meant playing in a totally new way, using fiddly specialist abilities for the Assault and Heavy classes.
For a game I would only really play sporadically, in between other releases or when new content dropped, I'm quietly proud of my platinum. I'll still pop back on for the forthcoming additional modes and heroes but, whether they turn out to be good or bad, it's nice to see it stand alongside my Jedi: Fallen Order and LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens gongs on my profile.

@KALofKRYPTON Thank you! Was quite funny getting those 150 Sentry Gun kills, as there's no tracker for it beyond fifty and I had totally lost count. I spent all of Wednesday evening playing Galactic Assault and farming as many as I could, then hopped back on last night to carry on. Got about ten, paused, made a coffee thinking "This might take a while!" and then the trophy literally popped on the next one. I was all, "Well, now what do I do for the rest of my evening, damn it?!" so I just mooched around on Starfighter Assault until the caffeine wore off.

Forgotton Anne gets a mention for "terrible trophy list".
I'm totally fine with difficult trophies, even if it means I will never ever get them. But what I do hate or hidden trophies that are missable, and require you to replay hours of gameplay.
Hidden trophies should only be used for spoilers trophies (like story), all other uses of it kind of defeat the point.
Not the hardest in the world. Mostly story related but had to go a bit out my way to bother to do all the lost souls (many thanks to @Quintumply for his logical guide on this very site) and the trophy obtained for dying in seven different ways took some effort as getting game over on the game isn't actually a common occurrence (plus the trophy seems to glitch unless you die in one specific way).
I got the Platinum for Forgotton Anne. Like I said before, the trophy list is downright terrible and random, so I actually feel like me chasing them, detracted from the experience.
