@render Cheers dude. I didn't get on with black flag, all that sea shanty chasing drove me spare but it is one of the more well liked Creed games. I quite liked Origins and Odyssey, Valhalla not so much.
@Th3solution Seeing as MS has kicked off an arms race or race to the bottom whichever term you prefer, I think Sony will have to respond. I would actually like Sony to pick up Ubi (if they are unfortunately sold) as they have quite a broad range of studios, racing which Sony is lacking and also I think they could turn their hand at shoring up the rpg side for Sony. Plus I think ubi has the quality that Sony expects in their games.
Plus we might get a Days Gone 2 (joke, Bend should do it if it happens, which it won't).
@Gremio108@render I’ll hopefully get it soon. I’m making it at least 3/4 of the way through now routinely but just keep making silly mistakes. I’m slowing it right down for the crab section and that’s not causing any issues now.
Just a pain to re-do 5 minutes worth of work when you do something stupid!
@CaptD congrats mate… and as you already know, another Ubi-fan here. Ghost Recon, Watchdogs, Assassins Creed, Far Cry… I enjoy them all tbh… and really liked Riders Republic too. Probably means I have absolutely no taste what if you go by the general consensus but I couldn’t give a hoot, fun times were had.
@Thrillho Ah I made so many of those types of errors. I'd get further each time and then have a spate of doing really daft things on the easy bits. One of the most annoying ones I remember though was I got right through to the fire section, which was as far as I'd ever got at that point, and in my amazement slowed down just to compose myself and stood too close to the flames 🤦♂️
@colonelkilgore Cheers I did sort of mention my praise for ubi to get a bit of a rise out of people.
I've yet to play Watchdogs London, I might play it. Immortals FR is probably next up.
Got my first PS5 plat and 101st overall with Stray. I had decided a while ago that was going to be the first one and Stray leaving Extra gave me more incentive to get it finished.
@MidnightDragonDX congrats bud, I’ve been waiting for a decent sale price on Stray for aaagggeeeesss… might have to bite the bullet and pay full price for it at this rate.
@colonelkilgore I can see Stray being a PS Essentials within the next few months, there seems to be a number of games flipping between the subscription tiers.
Just a guess and as that famous waiter would say, I know nothing.
@CaptD@colonelkilgore Yes, I noticed that too. It was nice to see that most of the games leaving Extra are prior Essential games, like the BioShock games, Borderlands Handsome Collection, etc. because I already have those in my library if I want them.
Stray will be an interesting one though. Since it came to PS++ as a day 1 release, it’s never truly been in the full market so they may let it simmer out there for purchase for a year or two.

@Th3solution@colonelkilgore Yeah time frame is obviously unknown, it is strange that it hasn't ever been on sale since it's release (according to platprices).
As for games flipping between the tiers, I've read of people having their Essentials licence being updated with the Extra one when they download it whilst it is in Extra, then once it leaves Extra they lose access to it.
Very annoying and I will kick off a download of Borderlands later this month just to see whether my copy is still tied to Essentials as I still need to finish BL2 (I didn't download it whilst it was in Extra so I should be ok).
@MidnightDragonDX Hey well done on that Stray plat. I still remember persevering with that catch me trophy @CaptD, it was no joke. Even though it wasn't quite as bad as the Sackboy one I did get close to my thinking with that - that I might just "sack" it off
@CaptD Oof… I hadn’t heard about that happening. 😧 I’ll keep that in mind and watch for any weird license swapping. I’m sure it could become even more complicated if a person actually purchased a game license, then the game went on Esssential, then went on Extra (because I do have a few games in my library that would fit that category). I would think the owned license would trump them all, but I don’t have much confidence in Sony’s PSN infrastructure.
I have noticed a few times that a padlock icon shows up next to a game in my library that is either still on Extra or was once on it in the past but that I own through purchase or Essential, but every time I’ve clicked on the game the “download to console” button is still highlighted as an option, even though the main page shows a locked icon.

@colonelkilgore Indeedy! I had the Souls type palpitations when I knew I was getting towards the end on the successful run. Who knew a cartoony platformer would give me that feeling too

Surprised you aren't wearing the banana outfit although that probably makes the perfection needed for the jumps a bit more tricky.
