@Thrillho congrats, a really Good plat, Mass Effect has always been one of my favourite game Trilogies and it was really nice having all the dlc packaged into them, alot I never done in the originals. Glad you enjoyed them.
@Cornaboyzzz congrats, I enjoyed Spongebob and a few times I've thought about install Toem when in between games, I'll definitely give it a look sometime
I am looking for someone to do The Crew online trophies with. Message me with tagline "The Crew Online Trophies" & I'll add you as a friend, PSN ID Banacheckfps. Thanks.
Platinum #141 - Dead Nation - one of the best games that Iāve played this year (and Iāve played some absolute bangers tbh). A really tough but ultimately super satisfying trophy list⦠and one that I just didnāt think Iād be up to the task on initially. My first twin-stick shooter⦠Iāve bought about another 10 since starting this one.
Platinum #142 - Assassins Creed: Revelations - took me a while to get into this one, as I was finding the old AC controls even more janky than usual⦠I think it was just me though, as it seemed par-for-the-course after about 10 hours. A nice capstone on the Ezio trilogy and the first game in the series that actually squeezed some juice on Desmond too. Will be looking forward to Assassins Creed 3 for the completion on Desmondās arc.
Platinum #143 - Kena: Bridge of Spirits - another banger fair play. I donāt normally go in for the cartoony vibe⦠but there was something about the aesthetic here which I liked⦠absolutely loved the score too. Lovely game that I personally felt was elevated even further by some incredible boss battles.
@colonelkilgore Nice triple there, congrats.
I've played most Creed games but not Revelations, just recently finished Unity and that was pretty good for an old style Creed game.
Glad you enjoyed Dead Nation and Kena was definitely a surprise hit for me.
@BeerIsAwesome that sucks dude, hope that it works itself out for you. Iāve actually got this game in the backlog and quite fancy it too⦠your experience does make me think twice though š¤
@BeerIsAwesome What a pain especially as it isn't a short game from what I've heard.
It is on my list as it looked fun but I will be wary of dodge trophies.
I wonder if they will add more machines via dlc/updates and that will add to your tally....fingers crossed for a Phoenix or Scramble clone (assuming they aren't already there).
#170 Splash Cars (PS4)
Entertaining enough diversion for an hour or two, worth the couple of quid I paid for it in the recent sale. Interestingly I didn't need to finish the game to get all trophies - just up to level 15 - not sure how many there are or whether I'll now be motivated to do so.
Also #169 Save Room (PS4) simple puzzle based on RE4 inventory system & #168 Tales of Iron (PS5) got it with PS+, probably wouldn't have enjoyed the challenge but blasted through it on easy, nice animation style and narration.
Splash Cars and Save Room both gave me PS4 and PS5 versions so I'll inevitably be doing them again at some point!
āWe are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.ā
@sorteddan Nice few cheap n cheerful plats there. I hope the Save Room had some memorable music....The save/safe room music from RE1 is very soothing, unfortunately it didn't stop the ingame counter so no time to sit and relax when there is a speedrun trophy to obtain.
@sorteddan congrats on a nice little hat-trick of plays there.
@render yeah the guide is way out right? It probably took me between 40-50 hours in the end⦠around 10 of which was trying to get to mission 10 on endless š
@colonelkilgore Thatās great feedback on Dead Nation. Itās one Iāve been meaning to try, but something always pushes it back. I feel like Iāve played a twin stick shooter before, but I canāt remember what it may have been. Maybe Iām just thinking of a twin stick shooting section of a bigger game⦠I donāt know.
And impressive work with Kena. The hardest difficulty is supposed to be absolutely brutal. Well done. I barely completed it on normal.
āWe cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.ā
@Th3solution so I actually played Kena through on normal myself⦠but there is a glitch to get the Master difficulty trophy with only minimal effort during ng+. If it hadnāt of either, I wouldāve tried a full Master play through⦠glad that I didnāt have to though š
and deffo tag me when you get around to Dead Nation, will be real interested to hear your thoughts.
edit. also, could the twin stick shooter section that was part of a larger game be Neir Automata?
@colonelkilgore Yes, Nier Automata was probably one of them. I feel like maybe there is another one too, but Nier Automata is probably the main game Iām thinking of. Maybe one of the Ratchet & Clank games? Or maybe one of the mini-games in a Danganronpa game? Iām scaring myself at how much gaming Iāve forgotten.
I think Iām also thinking of Resogun and I had a vague memory that it has left stick for propulsion back and forth and the right stick to shoot forward or back. So maybe itās a twin-stick lite. Along with Velocity 2X, which has elements of the genre also.
Still, I need to try Dead Nation, Nex Machina, Helldivers, and/or Alienation. Iām pretty sure I have all those in my library from PS+. Iāll definitely let you know if I dive in to Dead Nation. Iāve kept it on my console as a couch co-op in case I ever need a game to play with visitors. Alas, I donāt get many visitors. š

Got my 100th platinum trophy with Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars. The platinum name was āRuler of the Dragonās Isleā and had a picture of a badass looking dragon. And my name on PSN is MidnightDragonDX, so thought it was all cool.
Bagged platinum #64 Sackboy: A Big Adventure over the weekend. It was one that I didn't actually think I'd got the skill to get but someone off the boosting group had got through it so it inspired me to keep trying with that final knitted knight trial. I wouldn't like to think how many attempts it actually took me but watching back my successful run I'd actually made quite a few mistakes so it was amazing that it came together. I did the final trophy I needed for high-fiving another player with the user from the group which for some reason made it extra especially satisfying knowing that they also popped the platinum at the same time as me š
